Modiphius Partners with Mana Project Studio for Retail Release of Popular Roleplaying Games

Modiphius Entertainment has announced a new partnership with Italian graphic design studio, Mana Project Studio, to bring their range of roleplaying games to a wider audience. Mana Project Studio has been successful in publishing a range of roleplaying games through crowdfunding, and now Modiphius is set to launch their products into UK and European retail stores through their VIA Modiphius program and direct-to-retail sales.

The first releases will include Historia, a dark fantasy Renaissance setting for the 5th Edition of the world’s greatest roleplaying game. The game introduces the setting of Vesteria, a merciless land full of intrigues, populated by anthropomorphic animals. The Historia Core Rulebook features 17 new playable races of anthropomorphic animals, 10 new classes designed to fit a Renaissance setting, new magic and historically accurate firearms and equipment, as well as new rules for backgrounds, factions, and careers. The Historia product line also includes the Historia GM Screen, Historia Adventures Book, Historia Lorebook, Historia Maps Pack, and Historia Lorebook.

Another release from Mana Project Studio is Not the End, the winner of the Italian Roleplaying Game of the Year Award 2020. It features an original diceless game system called HexSys, where players describe their Heroes with keywords linked in a ‘hive’ of hexagons. Tokens are used to represent success and complications, and each trial will add something to the story and the game world. The Not The End Corebook includes all the rules players need to play the game in any setting of their choice. The Not The End product line also includes the Not The End Stories book, Not The End Lesson Card Deck, and Not The End Tokens Set.

Modiphius plans to launch these products and more into UK and EU retail and through its web stores from May 3, 2023. Other releases from Mana Project Studio, including the Seven Sinners supplement for 5E and OSR, are expected later in the year.
