Goblin King’s Gambit Brings Goblin Culture to Life in New TTRPG Book

Polyhedral Earth Society has announced Goblin King’s Gambit, a new role-playing game book designed for Dungeon Crawl Classics and 5th Edition systems, which is now on BackerKit. This 100+ page, hardbound book offers players an entry into a goblin-themed setting with multipath adventures, new class options, and a unique card system intended to streamline gameplay.

Each backer will receive a numbered edition of the book, adding a personalized element based on the total number of supporters. Goblin King’s Gambit includes four multipath adventures that start at zero level, guiding goblin characters through early stages of life and onward.

The book features a quick-start card system that helps reduce setup time, with 25 character cards and 80 equipment cards offering randomized stats and items for players. Additional content includes new class options, spells, and abilities, along with cultural notes and a goblin language guide.

The campaign includes stretch goals, unlocking extra content such as goblin rituals, new adventures, and a Goblin Town expansion. Optional STL files for 3D-printable goblin miniatures will also become available based on support for specific add-ons.

Goblin King’s Gambit will be open for support until December 17.
