Games Workshop Previews Clade Adamus Assassin for The Horus Heresy

A miniature figure of a masked, blue-clad warrior from the Warhammer universe, possibly inspired by The Horus Heresy, holding a gun in one hand and a scroll in the other. Detailed with skull emblems and equipped with various gear, it poses dynamically on a sandy base.

The final of the loyalist assassins to be previewed, the Clade Adamus is certainly not the least of them. The oldest of the orders, this stealthy skinsuit-wearer will be headed to your tabletops soon in The Horus Heresy.

From the article:

Nothing demonstrates the lengths that either side would go to in order to win the civil war better than the assassins deployed in the Horus Heresy. We’ve seen the Clade Infocyte Assassin, who uses information as a weapon, and the maestro of terrible toxins – the Clade Venenum Assassin.* Now, it’s time to meet the final Loyalist Assassin – the Clade Adamus Assassin.

The Adamus Clade is believed to be the oldest of the formal orders of Assassins, and its operatives are experts in the art of the decapitation strike – proving that old Terran adage about the body dying if you can kill the head. They study how their enemies fight, noting their strengths and learning their weaknesses, which they ruthlessly exploit. In game, the Clade Adamus Assassin is fast and absolutely lethal in melee, able to go toe-to-toe with almost any foe – and defeat them with their nemesii blade.
