Games Workshop Launches Voting for Miniature of the Year 2023
Games Workshop has opened voting for its prestigious Miniature of the Year 2023 award, showcasing a year filled with exceptional Warhammer miniatures. This year’s competition is particularly fierce, with two returning Primarchs and a host of other stunning models vying for the coveted title.
Diverse Range of Contenders
The range of miniatures this year spans from the humble yet formidable teams of Adeptus Arbites enforcers to mighty Chaos champions. Warhammer 40,000 and the Mortal Realms have seen the addition of several new heroes, with Lion El’Jonson and Angron facing stiff competition. Notable mentions include Vashtorr the Arkifane in Warhammer 40,000, who tore a baleful hole through the materium, and Warhammer Age of Sigmar’s legendary figures like Tahlia Vedra and Trugg the Troggoth King.

As 2023 progressed, Warhammer fans witnessed the debut of Commander Farsight in a new battlesuit, engaging Orks in battle. The Cerastus Knight Lancer made its first appearance in plastic, alongside its Acheron and Castigator counterparts. The year also brought some festive joy with special Christmas miniatures like Da Red Gobbo’s Surprise and the Grotmas Gitz.
Klonk, the beloved rockbrow squig, also made its memorable entrance, adding to the diverse lineup of miniatures.
