Bardsung: Tale of the Forsaken Glade Now on Gamefound

Steamforged Games has introduced Bardsung: Tale of the Forsaken Glade, a new board game campaign now available on Gamefound. This game remasters the mechanics of the original Bardsung, offering a fresh campaign driven by player feedback. Set in a decaying forest where a corrupting black dragon holds sway, players will navigate the labyrinthine woods and face twisted fae creatures, dragon-tainted cultists, and more.

The game invites players to explore a dynamic, procedurally generated world. As they draw tiles, the forest unfolds, presenting shifting paths, enemies, and puzzles. The evolving campaign spans ten chapters, with each choice shaping future events. Combat and non-combat challenges will test both strategy and resource management, with enemies adapting to the battlefield as players work together to overcome threats.

Players can create unique characters, leveling up and unlocking new abilities as they progress. With a range of possibilities for character development, players can build custom multiclass heroes or follow set paths. The cooperative dungeon crawl supports 1-5 players, allowing for both solo and group play.

The campaign has met its funding goal, raising $260,548 from 1,109 backers so far. The initial goal of $52,106 was achieved in just 18 minutes.
