ByTGN News Team

Ares Games has announced the distribution of six new “Made in Italy” roleplaying game volumes in English, originally published by MS Edizioni and indie studio Nigredo Press. The lineup includes Green Oaks, Five Days, and Last Resort, created by Fumble GDR and produced by MS Edizioni, alongside Flail Kült, Cthulhu Bay, and Forsaken Scriptures, crafted by Nigredo Press.

The three MS Edizioni releases are self-contained games with distinct settings that have gained popularity in the Italian market. Green Oaks offers a narrative-driven roleplaying experience where players take on the roles of elderly residents in a mysterious, rumor-laden retirement home. Five Days presents an experience centered on character-driven storytelling. Last Resort is a cooperative game where players are survivors on a tropical island during a zombie apocalypse.

Nigredo Press’s three releases bring unique concepts for RPG enthusiasts. Cthulhu Bay combines investigative elements with Lovecraftian horror, allowing players to piece together clues in a flexible narrative. Flail Kült is an artbook featuring illustrations that explore themes of mythology and death. Forsaken Scriptures offers minimalist maps for Mörk Borg and similar fantasy RPGs, aimed at providing no-prep adventures.
