Moonlight Miniatures have added two new skeletal pirates to their Moonlight 28’s range of pirate figures and accessories.

- Deadbeard, cursed skeletal buccaneer, 1 piece. $4.00
- Skuttlebone, skeletal gunner with musket, 1 piece. $3.50
From their website:
Ahoy thar! Me skellies were feeling a bit neglected. So here be a couple of fresh recruits for your skeletal crews. First aboard is none other than Deadbeard himself (28051). He springs from the artistic mind of Melvin de Voor, who provided the concept work. With two cutlasses and a bad attitude, he’s sure to carve a place for himself in the crew. Next aboard is a lad by the name of Skuttlebone (28052). He’s a gunner by trade and a darn good one to boot, but earns his keep with with his trusty musket. These miniatures be cast in the heroic scale of 28 like all of their brethren in the 28s line. Also added a couple of painted pixs on the Hobby page.

Moonlight Miniatures have added three new figures to their Moonlight 28s range.

From their website:
Aye. Thar be voodoo in the air. It’s so a poor soul isn’t even safe to just die without some blasted Bokor raising his wretched body to do some foul task. Taint natural says I. A dead man should be laid to rest, not dragged out to dance about like some rotting puppet. Mark my words, No good can come of this. That parrot is the only one with any sense. “Ye Be Warned” (28050) he says and he be right. Them two meat puppets Stagger (28048) and Lurch (28049), them was good sailors, good men, and they deserves their final rest. Them skeletons, they sold their own and chose their fate, but these poor wretches, they had no choice. Dragged from their graves they was. Despicable. Ye be right Polly, they be warned. Judgment is coming and retribution wields a heavy hand. Mark my words. Ye be warned.

Resina Planet has been, for the last year, offering some of the best quality scenery on the market and now we are beginning a new adventure; a new line of white metal miniatures of high quality and design.
Our first set of releases will be pirates and we will have new releases every month of diverse characters that will be ideal for wargamers as well as collectors. You can see all of our releases on our website and if you have any questions then please feel free to contact us.
They currently have eight nine new pirate miniatures available from their website all of which are available for €8.50.

Black Scorpion Miniatures have released several new figures today including new Tombstone and Pirate releases.

Image cropped to show only three of the five figures in the pack
From their announcement:
We have a number of new releases and updates. You’ll find a new ‘extras’ page on the site for things like glue and bases etc.. More to be added.
We’ve also added a pack of 2 SAW gunners to the US Marines so people can add them to their units.
These releases are available to order but we’re awaiting the castings, so we don’t expect to have them for the Wales show this weekend:
We will soon be putting the Legends of the High Seas book up for pre order. I hear it’s not available until mid February. It’s worth getting from us as we’ll be giving a free cabin boy away with it as seen on our workbench.

Tim Kulinski, the author of Legends of the High Seas, has announced that copies of the book are now shipping and should be appearing in stores soon.
From his announcement:
This afternoon I received my copy of Legends of the High Seas from Rob Broom, (the perk of being the author). And the book looks great! So now I can say I’m a published author now, Woo Hoo!
Here is what Rob Broom posted on another forum about LotHS:
“Shameless promotion, but advance order for this book on the WHW web site is now available, and its probably the fastest way to get the book.General release should be early Feb to late, depending on where you are in the world.
I received a couple of copies from the printer yesterday (the bulk of the books are somewhat appropriately sailing across to the warehouse) and after my usual look through to ensure its all alright printing and binding wise, I must say it does look very impressive.
All who have seen it here seem to be saying its our best ever book and theres been a sudden out break of talking like a pirate around the office.”
