Parks & Potions: A Casual Board Game of Healing Wildlife Through Botanical Alchemy Now on Kickstarter
Moon Saga Workshop has introduced its latest board game, Parks & Potions, a lightweight, casual game where players step into the role of park rangers skilled in botanical alchemy. In the game, players collect ingredients from the park’s flora to brew potions aimed at healing wildlife across different biomes. The game combines strategy, conservation, and experimentation, offering players multiple paths to victory.
The gameplay is spread over five rounds (six in a five-player game), each representing a day of work for the park rangers. During each round, players roll dice to gather extracts from plants, manage their inventories, and create potions to fulfill objectives. Points are earned by healing animals or through successful experimentation, and focusing on specific habitats provides bonus points. The player with the most points by the end of the game is recognized as the guardian of nature.
The game is currently live on Kickstarter, with over $34,572 pledged from 622 backers. The campaign runs until October 24, with a goal of $10,000 already surpassed.
