Print Version of Legacy: Life Among the Ruins Now Available

Digital books are fine. But, honestly, I very much prefer having an actual book in-hand when I game. For all the advantages of quick cross-references and being able to carry a library on your phone/tablet, I still love the physical book being in my hands. If nothing else, I just find the text easier to read on a page than on a screen. So, for me, I’m really happy that the print version of Legacy: Life Among the Ruins is now available from Modiphius.

We’ve seen the Nameless before, at least over in Dreadball. Now, their armies are hitting the field. In this preview, Mantic shows off some of the Nameless, as well as some of the design ideas behind them.

Mantic Posts Deadzone Outbreak Preview

Outbreak is the new campaign coming for Deadzone. However, it’s not just a new campaign that you can take part in anywhere you might be. It’s also a new major update and supplement for the Deadzone game. Mantic is basically calling it Deadzone 2.1. Included in the book, there are two new factions, the Nameless and the Mazon Labs (I might’ve preferred chocolate labs, but there we are, then). Take a look at these new factions in this preview.

Fantasy Flight Previews Lando’s Falcon For X-Wing

For many of you out there, I’m sure you’ve gone to see the new Solo movie (whether you saw it with other people or not). In it, we get a bunch of background on Star Wars‘ most famous smuggler, along with how he got the iconic ship, The Millennium Falcon. Well, back when Lando had it, it was much different looking. And that version will be making its way to X-Wing tabletops. We get a look at it in this preview (note: if you’ve not seen the movie and are one of those “OMG! If I know even more than just the title of the movie, the whole thing is ruined and my life is OVER!” types, I don’t know if there’s any spoilers about the film, but you’ve been possibly warned. Don’t come cryin’ to me).

Fantasy Flight Previews 1.4 FD Laser Cannon And E-Web Blaster For Star Wars: Legion

The Battle of Hoth scenes in Star Wars introduced a lot of new elements to the universe. In the opening salvos, we saw the Rebels defending their base using the 1.4 FD Laser Cannon (even as its shot did basically hit an AT-AT in the knee and seemingly do nothing at all). It then blows up. Then, a little later, when the Falcon is trying to take off, we see the Imperials setting up their E-Web blaster. Again, this gets blown away before it really has a chance to do anything. Well, hopefully their on-screen appearances are not indicative of what they’ll do on your Star Wars: Legion battlefields.
