New Star Trek-Themed Games ‘Murder on the Titan-A’ and ‘Mary Celeste’ Launch on Kickstarter

Beadle & Grimm’s Pandemonium Warehouse has announced two new games set in the Star Trek universe, Murder on the Titan-A and Mary Celeste, each designed to bring fans a unique tabletop experience through storytelling and augmented reality. Officially licensed by Paramount, both games are available on Kickstarter now.

In Murder on the Titan-A, players step into the role of a Starfleet investigator, working to solve a murder mystery aboard the U.S.S. Titan-A. The game’s narrative focuses on clearing Captain Liam Shaw, voiced by actor Todd Stashwick, of the crime. Players analyze evidence, interview witnesses, and navigate a storyline aimed at preventing a potential conflict with the Klingon Empire. The game integrates an augmented reality Starfleet badge, which, when scanned, provides digital access to reports, hints, and audio interactions.

Mary Celeste offers a different style of gameplay with an escape-room format. Players, taking on the role of Starfleet cadets, explore an abandoned alien ship while attempting to uncover its mysteries and ensure their own safe return. This game emphasizes puzzle-solving and includes tools such as alien language translation and digital exploration of the ship through an Enterprise Cadet AR badge.

Both games feature interactive elements, maps, and AR-enabled badges created in partnership with Pinfinity. Components include dossiers, scene reports, and maps, designed to add depth to each game’s environment. As part of the campaign, backers can choose add-ons, including additional AR badges or autographed items.

The Kickstarter campaign will run until November 23.
