Mr. B. Games has taken to Kickstarter to fund its new expansion for the action-packed racing game, “Thunder Rolls.” The Garage Expansion promises to bring more excitement, featuring additional sponsor stickers, driver decks, and a new NDP deck/system to the racing landscape.
The expansion has already managed to garner substantial support, surpassing its initial goal of $4,000 with over $13,000 pledged from nearly 200 backers. The campaign still has 12 days remaining and is slated to conclude on June 7.
“The Garage Expansion” aims to enhance the fast-paced, interactive gameplay that Richard Launius, known for popular titles like “Arkham Horror,” “Freedom Five,” and “Defenders of the Realm,” conceived. Each week of the campaign, new content will be revealed via unlocked Stretch Goals, amplifying the excitement and anticipation for backers.
In response to player feedback, the Garage Expansion will also include new car add-ons in eight distinct colors, providing an alternative to the white cars with color stickers provided in the core game. Additionally, Neoprene Mats for Thunder Rolls are being offered as another popular item request. The fulfillment of these add-ons is dependent on a minimum of 100 backers supporting them.
For those unfamiliar with the base game, “Thunder Rolls” is a high-speed dice placement stock car racing game supporting 1 to 8 players. The game is renowned for its player interaction, fast-paced decision making, and thrilling racing dynamics. The core game comes with eight customizable, unpainted cars.
