Zenit Miniatures has been showing off these Kensei models for a while, but the rules are soon to be with us as well.

From them to you (note, it’s translated from Spanish, hence some odd turns of phrase):

We can now offer you the new game created by Zenitminiatures called Kensei. This is a new game of wars with models, inspired by the fantasy and history of feudal Japan. You can, already, order through Zenitminiatures online shop and soon our products will be on sale in shops and through distributors. You can also keep up to date with our products on our website or our facebook page. Our regulations (the rules for the game) are in the process of being drawn and will soon be available to download free from our official website, in English and Spanish

I was born at a very young age. I plan on living forever. So far, so good.

Looks good but not sure I’m into the fact it’s fantasy, an historical setting would have been far more attractive to me.

What kind of game is it? Mass battles? Skirmish? Bigger areas using the minis as markers? I checked the website but cannot find any description. I like the overall look but can anyone tell us what the game will be?

    • You would assume, that the company name Zenit Miniatures, would lead you to believe that it’s a miniature game, but I could be wrong. It’s happened before.

from the products offered on the store the “army box” has 21 miniatures has four generic 5 man units and one generic hero. each faction has a single extra named hero.

I’m guessing this is a skirmish game and the faction specific heroes have effects that change the way the generic units fight like a warcaster in warmachine.

Seems like a bad idea to launch a new games when Nemesis has never really gotten off of the ground. Especially because this looks much less interesting.
