The other day I lamented that History classes tend to gloss over (or simply skip) the many influential women in history. That's not just the case with Medieval royalty, either. Many women have made groundbreaking contributions to the field of science, and yet we rarely hear about them (even ones that you do sometimes hear about). Well, one card game is looking to solve that. Women in Science is available now. There's even an online demo you can play.
The object of the game is to collect four cards of the same color in order to form a "Lab." The different colors represent different fields of science that the women participated in. Since some women were active in more than one field, they will be multiple colors. The first player to make 3 labs is the winner. Play cards from your hand in order to create your labs, but be careful, as opponents can steal your scientists, or force you to discard them from your labs.
