Comics are weird. And let's face it, the concept for some of the heroes and villains can be... a touch... silly. At least on first inspection. So, having an arch-nemesis named Stilt-Man, who runs around town in a giant robotic suit with huge stilts for legs... Eh. Maybe it's just me. Anyway, he's getting a figure in the Superior Foes of Spider-Man HeroClix set and you can take a look at him now.
Stilt-Man is very ... *cough* flexible in how you play him on the field. He starts out with one leg extension section, but you can buy more at the cost of 5 points each. What do you get with those extra points? Well, a couple things. If he has two or more leg sections, he gains Giant. When he has 5 or more, he gains Colossal Character. While he has Colossal Character, he can make counter-attacks against enemies that hurt him or other friendly characters. And while he has only 4 clicks of life, he can also use those leg segments as ablative armor. Whenever he takes damage, he can lose leg segments and roll a die. On a 1-3, he still takes 1 damage, but it's still a 50/50 shot to negate damage. Not terrible.
