It might be a silly place (where you sing from the diaphragm a lot), but it's still full of wonders and spectacle. One such spectacle takes the form of tournaments, where knights look to show their prowess in combat against one-another. But, seeing as Merlin is never far away, there's certainly magic afoot during the events. Participants will have to learn to use it to the best of their abilities, along with more traditional fighting implements such as swords and arrows, if they want to win.
That's the story behind Tournament at Camelot, a new card game coming soon from WizKids
From the announcement:
WizKids is excited to announce the upcoming card game, Tournament at Camelot, designed by Ken Shannon, Karen Boginski and Jody Barbessi.
In Tournament at Camelot, players are legendary characters (Protagonists), battling opponents with weapon cards—Arrows, Swords, Deception, Sorcery and even Alchemy. The more the player injures their opponents, the better they fare in the tournament. However, even the most injured characters can make a complete comeback with the grace of Godsend cards and the aid of their special Companions.
The game will be available in May and you can pre-order copies now.
