Would you like to take a survey!?
Do you like RPGs? Do you like George Wendt? Would you play RPGs with George Wendt? Would you play a bean-eating RPG with George Wendt? Does anyone out there get these references?
If you answered “yes” to any of those questions… well… they’re not entirely pertinent to Wizards of the Coast, except maybe that first one. They’ve posted up a D&D Survey and would love to hear from you.

From the post:

We’d like to check in with you about your Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) play and involvement in D&D-related activities. Please take a few minutes to complete our survey.

If you play D&D and are tired of EVERYTHING they release being FR-centric, go take this survey. Let them know that after 3 years of no other campaign settings, it’s time for something else.

Seriously, they ask which settings you’re interested in, including Spelljammer, Planescape, and Dark Sun…as well as Greyhawk, FR, Eberron, and such.

No mention of Birthright, which is a bit of a shame. I had to pencil it in.

Sweet Animaniacs reference. And yes, I would play RPG’s with George Wendt.

    • Everyone should want to play RPGs with George Wendt. 😉

I should have wrote in final thoughts box that the best thing they should do is sell off their settings to Paizo, or other companies, who will treat them with more respect. Seriously, no Wizards of the Coast official section at Gencon this year… It really seems like they are kind of trying to get away from gamers by not being there, but having a big presence at Hascon, which will be more about toy collectors, instead of doing both.

They used to license out some of their settings (White Wolf did the 3.5 Ravenloft stuff).
