Wave 1 Releases for Star Wars Armada Now Available

Star Wars Armada puts you in charge of... well... it's sort of right there in the name, isn't it? Anyway, up until now, we've only had the starter box contents to play with. And while, yes, there is some variation you can create with that, after a while, we yearn for something added to it. Well, the wait is over, as the first wave of expansion boxes and blisters is now available.


For the Imperials, there's the Gladiator-class Star Destroyer, the Victory-Class Star Destroyer, and the Imperial Fighter Squadron. "But I've already got a VSD!" I hear you say. Well, yes, you do, but this pack has new upgrades and equipment that weren't in the starter set. So there! Ha!



If you are more on the Rebel (scum!) side of things, you can pick up the CR90 Corellian Corvette, the Nebulon-B Frigate, the Assault Frigate MkII, and the Rebel Fighter Squadron packs. And, once again, even though you've already got Corvettes and Nebulon-B's, these have new upgrades and equipment that will expand your fleet-building possibilities.



Have you been enjoying Armada? I did that unboxing, but then all sorts of stuff also hit my desk, and so I've not had much of a chance to really play it yet.
