Getting sick sucks. The coughing, the aches, the sneezing, the runny nose (especially annoying for those of us with mustaches and beards, yuck). They're just the worst. A good way to keep from getting sick is to get vaccinated. *rubs my arm where I got my flu shot* Well, playing Vaxcards is a lot more fun than getting a flu shot. It's a new card game that's up on Kickstarter now.
In the game, players are looking to infect their opponents with nasty diseases. Each of the cards is a different type of disease. The cards show off the name of the virus, as well as the different symptoms it produces (which can get pretty nasty in cases such as cholera). However, you can stave off getting sick by getting vaccinated against the different strains. One player wins when they're the only one left with resistance points, leaving everyone else with chills, fever, and probably other nasty stuff.
The Kickstarter campaign is already over their funding goal and working toward stretch goals. It's set to run for another 20 days.
