There’s new life being breathed into Alkemy. Alchemist Miniatures are the new stewards of the system and are looking to get it onto more tabletops the world over. One of the best ways to make sure a game grows is through literally growing the model count. As such, there are two new releases available over in the Alkemy webshop.

For the Auroch Clan, there’s the Woa Wa’yake (sculpted by Didier Fancagne), who joins the Rain-Dancer and Manitau Warrior. Meanwhile, Avalon and Templar players get a second Templar Lotharius to add to their power lists. This model was sculpted by Johan Chauvet.

Both figures can be found in the Alkemy webshop.

I was born at a very young age. I plan on living forever. So far, so good.
  • One other thing to make a game grow, is print its rules in a common language. While I can read French, I’m way more at ease reading English (neither is my native language).

And have someone whose native language is English AND games first. Everyone remembers how “Hard to Cook” was a thing in Confrontation.

        I hadn’t remembered that.

Oh yeah, one of the early revisions (may have been 1e, definitely early 2e) into English had the Hard Boiled ability as Hard to Cook. That’s the go-to for examples of why you want a native speaker to review your stuff before it goes out. That and those little nuances that a second language speaker can miss.

The rules are available in English:

There’s also a crowdfunding campaign coming in October which I hope will allow one to get a printed English rulebook with the fluff included.
