Total Wargamer takes a look at the new Warriors of Chaos Slaughterbrute box set put out by Games Workshop.

From the review:

The Slaughterbrute is the largest kit in the new Warriors of Chaos release. It is a multi-part plastic kit including 78 parts with which it is possible to build either a Slaughterbrute or a Mutalith Vortex Beast.

They lost me at “this is one cool looking beast!”

If gamer ‘reviews’ are to be believed, than 90% of what comes out is AWESOME and NOT TO BE MISSED! đŸ˜›

The only downside is the particularly high price point…

Yes, at $85 each the high price point would be considered a downside.

To be fair, there are other miniature companies (well at least one) which release models that are more expensive but for which the price isn’t the only downside.

I think the only downside is that I can’t tell its backside from its frontside. The only way I would buy this thing is if it had a cowboy with a lariat riding on its back, and I’d still wait until it was 50% off.

This is one of the worse GW ki I’ve ever seen. I really don’t see the appeal.
