Granted, if you want, you can, instead, create the huge monsters. That's one of the things that's a bit different about this book. Usually, they give you the ability to make the robots, but not so much the monsters. There's also plenty to help out the GM, including micro-settings. They're not huge, sprawling descriptions that you probably won't use the majority of. Instead, they're concentrated descriptors filled with all manner of adventure hooks to get your characters gaming.
Also, I kinda really want those dice.
