It’s December. Yesterday, we had some pretty nasty storms roll through here in Atlanta. Today, it’s definitely a bit cooler than it had been. Sure, a high of 54 might not seem too cold to someone in Chicago (where I grew up). But it’s colder than the 70s it’d been the previous couple days. Staying in and playing some games sounds rather nice. So let’s make sure those gaming tables look good.
Today in our Terrain Corner we have: New Firefly Airship from Burn In Designs, Heroic Maps – Explorer: Night Camps Now Available, Deep-Cut Studio releases a new Neo-Tokyo game mat, Infinity Scenery: Pwork Wargames gaming Scenery Sets Now Available, and Crossroads gaming mat by Warzone Studio Now Available.

The narrow shape and open cockpit that carries up to 4 passengers gives excellent visibility. Take to the skies in the new Firefly airship. *Military versions available via special order only

New game mat release! The new Neo-Tokyo design comes with great inspiration from cyberpunk and sci-fi settings, where sunlight on the streets is replaced with neon lights and happiness comes in a form of syringes and cyber-chips. Some even say, that mechas cyborgs get extra lucky rolls on this battlefield… The playmat is available in 4×4 and other popular sizes and comes in three different materials, mousepad (or neoprene) being one of them. Check out www.deepcutstudio.com for more visuals and consult your TAGs before making a decision!
All of these sets are paper-printable sets, ideal for Sci-fi setting (in particular for the wargame Infinity), wherewith It’s possible to realize a 3D terrain piece, cardboard-made and already painted.
This set offers the possibility to quickly and easily build a scenic element, compatible with all major wargames, boardgames a role-playing games that use 25mm or 28mm miniatures, ensuring greater realism and visual impact on your wargame mat, all achievable with little effort.
All the Infinity Scenery have been ideated to be easy to cut and past, to give you a ligh-weight and resistant scenic element for your gaming mats, to improve the fun of your battles!
“Crossroads” was made for wargamers, who asked to make “Meadows” closer to Middle ages style. It is a classical wargame scenery: a gaming mat with old roads meeting together somewhere between rocks. It is great for such wargames as Chain of Command, Lord of the Rings or Age of Sigmar.
This mat is made of what? A huge plotter prints on a vinyl sheet, melting material with special acid to make inks set on vinyl more solid. A material of wargaming mat is very solid, it can’t be damaged by placing terrain on it, by water, by moving miniatures or by your feet.
