It’s still really hot here in Atlanta. Personally, with Gen Con being over, it’s “autumn” in my mind. I realize that the official season doesn’t start for a month still, but my grocery store already has Halloween decorations for sale (so, to you that think the Christmas stuff comes out too early, but want Halloween to last a couple months, your wish is being granted). I know I’m ready for falling leaves and cooler temperatures. As it is, though, I’m still hiding out inside, playing games. And as such, I want my gaming tables to look good. Y’know, mimicking the outside world that I refuse to participate in. 😛
Anyway, in today’s Terrain Corner we have: 6mm Scale “Genatorium” Sci Fi Power Plant available from HoneyBee Works, Heroic Maps release – Abandoned Dwarven Hold & Mines, Maki Games – MUP Modular Underground Plastic Dungeon is coming to KS, The Valley: Pwork Wargames Fantasy Gaming Mat Now Available, Tabletop Cartographer: Large Scale Fantasy Maps Up On Kickstarter, and New Plastic Modular Jersey Barriers 28mm – 1/48th Scale at Armorcast.
This week has seen the release of the latest addition to our 6mm scale building line; “The Genatorium” power plant. This highly detailed plastic kit features some gothic styling cues which allows it to fit perfectly in to Epic 40k, Armageddon, Battletech, Dirtside or other Sci Fi 6mm games.
Designed to fit on to the larger of our 6mm building base sets (as shown in the picture) but can equally be used free standing.
We’ve massively expanded our Modular Kit range with the release of five new Modular tile sets. Inspired by the Mines of Moria and some time spent munching popcorn and watching LotR, this set visits an Abandoned Dwarven Hold and the associated mines. With rooms such as the Great Hall, full of columns, a tomb room (“They have a cave troll…”), a bridge over a chasm (“You shall not pass!”), they’re linked together by a variety of corridors and smaller rooms. The set also seamlessly transitions into a Mine set, which matches up with a set of large rooms with wooden platforms and deep chasms.
You can get them separately, or get them as a bundle that includes a discount.
In a few weeks Maki Games will be re launching the MUP, Modular Underground System. Completely revised, lower goal, better details, improved modularity and functionality. Better details and even a lower price. Lots coming… follow them on FB to get more details.

The Wargame Mat The Valley offers the possibility of setting battles between armies of miniatures among slight slopes, crossed roads and grasslands. The mat is a perfect fantasy setting for deploying vast armies, and also ideal for historical game settings or science-fiction fights! Are you ready to battle?
Tiled Maps on a Massive Scale. Huge Art. Naked world ready for your Cities and Empires. Tabletop game mechanics focused on exploration.
This new Kickstarter campaign is the brainchild of Seth Heinichen (yes, also his favorite beer), an artist out of Queens, New York who is originally from Northern California. Seth is offering large scale maps with his obsessive attention to detail that anyone can proudly hang on their wall and hand out to their players. Hand drawn maps, while great for gaming, are a bit campy. This is about upgrading your tabletop experience and giving you the power to focus on designing the world without having to go too far down the rabbit hole.
A set of five Plastic Jersey Barriers for crowd or traffic control. The design is modular and can be linked together. Model sculpted in 28 mm – 1/48th scale and supplied unpainted and unassembled. Cast in resin. Designed by Ginfritter.
