As a teetotaler, I would've been just fine during prohibition. But I realize I'm in the minority and people gotta have their hooch. Well, when all the bars closed down, people had to take their social drinking underground. Speakeasies opened up all over the country. Some were just basements with a bathtub full of gin. Others were a bit nicer. Such is the case with The Opulent (as you could tell from its name). Now, you get to be one of the people working at this 1920s bar, entertaining all sorts of guests.
The Opulent is a new board game for 1-4 players. Players take on the roles of various people working at the bar, from doorman to bartender, to club manager, to the band. All sorts of people will want to come to your bar, which you can upgrade as you gain wealth. However, you need to be on the lookout. You could be raided at any time. So keep your ears open for any info about upcoming sting operations. There's even a campaign mode for the game to show how your bar changes over time.
The campaign is really close to their funding goal with still 26 days left.
