This year, it seems that Americans are going to have to cast their vote for someone they're not 100% behind. No candidate is perfectly free of skeletons in their closet, but one of them will be the new ruler of the free world (Personally, I'm in favor of Pat Paulsen). Well, now you can recreate having to vote for someone you're not entirely happy with using The Campaign, a new party card game up on Kickstarter.
In the game, players are looking to be elected to office. Players will draw 5 strength cards and 3 skeleton cards. Each round, players will select 2 strength cards to play in front of them. They will then pick a skeleton card and play it on the player to their left. So you might end up with a candidate that's great at Pokemon Go and promises Free Taco Tuesday, but also is really just two sheep in a suit. Or other such combinations. Players then debate who would be the best candidate. That player will win that round and keep their skeleton card as a points indicator. The player with the most points at the end is the winner.
The Kickstarter campaign is up and running now. It's set to go for another 28 days.
