Spider Monkey Games posted up their Terminus Gate basic rules set over on their website and are offering it free to download. So why not go check it out?

From the release:

Spider Monkey Games has been hard at work preparing for our next big step and the time has finally arrived. Now available on our site for Free Download are the Terminus Gate Basic Rules. These rules are the core of the game play. There are 2 different versions available: the first is printer friendly, the second is laid out for digital consumption. Please, feel free to download, print, share, critique, and otherwise hammer away at us with any questions or concerns. Also keep in mind that this version of the rules does not include the majority of the campaign section. This will allow everyone to jump in and start playing around with the rules without revealing everything we have in store.

    Be extremely careful with this!!!!
I clicked the “Digital Friendly” link and it caused my computer to crash.

  • I have checked the files several times and don’t see any issues. Please contact me directly and let me know what happened with this so we can research. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience.

All I know is I clicked the link and immediately got a blue screen of death. Have you checked the file from an external computer? It’s possible the source file was corrupted and your local machines are opening a cached resource.

While I can’t say it held my interest, the file seemed to open just fine for me when I clicked on the digital friendly version and opened it in Firefox. 4ton’s experience may have just been a coincidence or . . . that final straw for a computer already overwhelmed by thirty simultaneous Russian special exercise video downloads.

      • Hi 4tonmantis. We made sure to test our download from computers outside of our network and on various browser types without having any issues before releasing the PDF for public consumption, but as Soulfinger stated, it could have just been coincidence or a bad string for that particular download attempt. If you are still interested in getting a copy, we’re happy to send you one directly. If not, we totally understand and hope that your machine has not suffered any permanent damage.

I am interested in it and would prefer to receive it directly but I’m not sure how to safely pass my contact info
