Tectonic Craft Studios launches a new kickstarter project.

From their kickstarter:

What we’re all about
Tabletop miniatures games are a lot more than just games. Tabletop minis gaming is a hobby of strategy, tactics, modeling, painting, storytelling, dice-rolling, fun-having, and hanging out with your friends. They are as much about spatial relationships as they are personal ones. They’re as much about making your army as they are playing and winning with them. As a whole, the tabletop minis hobby is a highly visual one. We spend hours and hours of converting, sculpting, painting, inking, and highlighting to make sure our armies look great.

This one pic doesn’t do the project justice. Everyone should click the link and take a thorough gander.

    • wow – ambitious.

Some of those buildings look great. It would be good to see painted versions to get a feel of how the finer detail on the pieces holds up.

    Yo Dawg! I heard you were having a Kick-starter. So I had a Kick-starter for your Kick-starter!

That pic defiantly does not do it justice. After seen the rest, wow just wow. I have not seen any company come close to what they did. I’m defiantly going to support it.

We have used Tectonic Crafts terrain at my game store Grimfoe Games for over a year now, well the initial pieces he designed at least. They are great, we are always getting complimented on our terrain and asked where it came from. It looks great painted up and even though it has been in use for over a year now and subject to hours of game play and being stored improperly it has stood up to wear and tear amazingly. We use it for all our in house pickup games, tournaments, leagues and even lent the majority of it to the organisers of Badcon to use for their 40k tournament last year. I really can’t compliment this stuff enough so like the others said, check out the kickstarter, watch his video and if you see stuff you like, help make it a reality!
