West Wind Productions

It's the start of a new year and West Wind Productions Wants to get you some new minis and save you a couple bucks. You've got all that holiday money to spend, why not stretch that dollar a little further during West Wind's New Year Sale?

Build a better mousetrap, and the world will beat a path to your door. Well, for these mice, you're definitely gonna need a better mousetrap. I doubt the ones you used to get rid of a little vermin are gonna do the trick. West Wind Productions has released their new Ratlanders for Empire of the Dead.

A new expansion is now available for Secrets of the Third Reich. It's called Dossier X-01, and it's chocked full of new units of all types for your games. But not just rules, West Wind Productions has a whole batch of new miniatures that are available as well. And West Wind is celebrating by giving you a free figure of your choice when you make a qualifying order! Who doesn't love free stuff!?
West Wind Productions is looking to expand their War & Empire line with their next set, giving you lots of new Dark Age figures. If you're looking to miniaturize your historical gaming, you'll want to check out all the various sets that are available as part of the campaign. They cover a little bit of everything, covering several different cultural groups.
Thanksgiving's not quite here yet, but we've already got some of the holiday sales going on. In this case, it's West Wind Productions. If you'd like to get some of their awesome products for a lot cheaper than you usually would, you'll want to head over to their website and see what they've got on offer.
The weekend is pretty much upon us. We just need to finish up this afternoon and we'll be there. Do you have plans? I'm still unsure. Though I think I want to make a cheesecake, because it's been a while since I've made cheesecake. Probably make more strawberry-lime sauce to go with it. Or maybe I'll do raspberry-lime. I don't know. But there's still time to think about it. In the meantime, we gotta fill up on some bite-size gaming stories.

On the platter today we have: West Wind Productions Announces Panzer Mech Kickstarter, Ninja Division Announces Relic Knights 2nd Edition Kickstarter, Wiley Games New Home Of Fistful of Lead, New Animal Explorers From RN Estudio, Khurasan releases M1152 with canvas cover, New Releases From Hitech Miniatures, New Release from Kromlech, and Rectangular Bases on Sale From Micro Art Studio.

Hello there, everyone. I hope your week is going by well. Mine is. I just had a very nice bento box lunch and am ready to give you some bite-sized items as well, in the form of some gaming news.

Today's snippets include: Wyrmwood Dice Trays & Dice Vaults for Warmachine & Hordes on Kickstarter, Beyond the Gates of Antares: Errata and FAQs posted, Iron Cross Miniatures Launches First Minis, New Tau Units Added To One Page 40k and One Page Kill Team, Bombshell Games Announces Techno Bowl, Siege of Augusta Website is back Up and Running, BattleGate Games Releasing Dark knight AMO miniature, West Wind Launch a New Website, Final Days For The Mindjammer RPG Kickstarter, Westfalia's Halfmen Kickstarter is live, Scibor Releases New Sci-Fi Elf Bust, Spinal Column Miniatures Running Wasteland Abominations Kickstarter, Pedra Fantasy Warrior Available From Figone, Warchimera Releases Partisans for Polish Home Army, and Khurasan releases 1980s Soviet Motor Riflemen.

While I know that it's certainly not as hot as it is in, say, Brisbane right now, the 70-degree weather here in Atlanta is making it rough to think that it's the Holiday Season.
The eggnog and gingerbread cookies (of course homemade), though, are helping.

Speaking of other such bite-size morsels, let's give you a bit to chew on in terms of some news.

Today's offerings include: NatEmo Dice Up On Kickstarter, Siren Miniatures Releases Odins Dwarf Mini, War & Empire II Adds 3rd Century Romans To Kickstarter Campaign, and New Norse Shields Available From Puppets War.

The week is continuing along at a fairly standard rate. However, it seems today really put on the accelerator and we're going full-tilt through the day. It's already time for the Midweek Snippets post (which is also midway through our broadcast day here, if you've never noticed before). Which means I'm halfway through my day as well. Good times.

Anyway, today's batch of bite-size stories includes: RONE Passes Funding Goal - Posts Gameplay Video, Blackwater Gulch: Savage Beasts Available Now, Xenoshyft Dreadmire Expansion Teased, Buy the Rights Receives the 'Major Fun Award', 29K Stretch Goal Unlocked in Kensei Undead Kickstarter, Massive Awesome Reveals The Hulking Kodiak Tactical Heavy Frame For Shattered Earth, Legends of British Steampunk: Roleplay & Wargames Miniatures On Kickstarter, Tabletop-Art Previews Rockabilly Heads, New Warthrone approved army list: Lizardmen from Warhammer, Kromlech New Release - Legionary Chain Swords,

Just the name, itself, conjures all sorts of thoughts. More than just a city, Rome was one of the greatest empires the world had seen, famous for turning the Mediterranean into their own, private lake. So much myth and history surrounds Roman culture, much of it focused on the military. And what a military it was. West Wind Productions is looking to bring new 15mm Roman soldiers to your tabletop in their latest Kickstarter campaign.
Social Media can make or break a company these days. You can't just have a good website. You've also gotta have social media pages where you can reach out and interact with your audience *waves to everyone seeing this on TGN's Facebook and Twitter pages, too*. West Wind Productions is getting close to 2k likes for their Facebook page. That's the first step in them giving away a prototype Tesla Cannon for Secrets of the Third Reich.
Well, yesterday was quite a day. Very busy getting that Betrayal at Calth review done. For those that might not have seen it yet, spoilers: I think it's a fun game that, with the announcement of the Specialty Development Studio, I hope gets some expansions in the future. I'd love to see some new scenarios and more aspects added to it. Perhaps tie-ins with other chapters as well. I'd love to see a "Dark Angels vs. Dark Angels" expansion, for example. We'll just have to wait and see where it goes from here.

Anyway, on to today. It's time for a quick bite to eat on some bite-sized stories for you.

Today's servings include: West Wind Productions Bringing Legions of Rome to Kickstarter, Gioconomicon Posts Photo Galleries From European Events, and New WWII Minis Released By Askari Miniatures.

As the air gets colder (I've been able to have my AC off for a couple weeks now in the apartment) and the leaves start changing (we do have more than just pine trees here in Atlanta, if you can believe it), it's time to settle ourselves in for Halloween. (As an aside, something I've not seen posted a lot is that, for those that do the "daylight savings time" thing, we're getting an extra hour of Halloween. "Fall back" happens at 2am on Sunday, November 1st. So, we all effectively get an extra hour of Halloween night) The good folks over at West Wind Productions have decided to celebrate with a sale.
Ordering direct from a game company via their online store can be a great way to make sure you get the figures you want and give support to said company. However, sometimes the shipping costs can make it such that any money you might've saved ordering direct is more-than wiped out. Well, West Wind Productions is here to help with that if you order from them.
I hope your weekend is going well (or has gone well if you are much further East than where I am currently). Mine's been full of some older movies that were watched just for the hell of it (such as Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, again, because just for the hell of it).

And now it's Sunday, so that means a day of housework for me. It also means a collection of bite-sized stories for you.

In this batch we have: New Hansom Tank for Empire of the Dead, Midknight Heroes Interview on CPOP, Advanced Deployment Debuts New Acrylic Color and Free Tokens, and Secrets of the Lost Tomb: The Elite Missions Kickstarter Launching in 9 Days.

We keep chugging along, beautiful TGN readers. The week rolls by and we continue on as well. It's that time once more to bring you some bite-sized stories we've come across in the past few days.

In this batch we have: New Goodies in the Advanced Deployment store, New Warthrone approved army list: Tomb Kings from Warhammer, Tobsen77 Iron Horse huge artillery now available, First Hammer's Slammer Detachment Pack Available from Brigade Models, Crooked Dice release the Weed, Meridian Miniatures releases Rat Warlock, Ogres coming soon at, Nvenom8 Designs Releases Kraken D20, West Wind Productions Releases Steam Velocipede for Empire of the Dead, New American Civil War Zouaves from All the King's Men, and Classic Large Goblins now at

Artillery can be the great equalizer on the battlefield. They might have tanks, but if you've got the artillery to take them out quickly and effectively, they're not much of a problem anymore. Same thing if the enemy has more infantry out there than you do. If you can get some shots placed in the right areas, you can neutralize that advantage. For Forged in Battle players, West Wind Productions has some new artillery pieces available.
It might be getting near the end of summer, but "getting near the end of" still means it's summer. That means there's still time for summer sales. West Wind Productions has theirs going. So go pick up some minis for the upcoming winter for cheaper than you'd usually have to spend.
Real-world conspiracy theorists love to talk about all the strange things that the Nazis were trying to do during WWII. It's well-known that Hitler was interested in ancient (sometimes occult) artifacts and pushing the envelope on science. Well, what if all that was even more true and it all worked? Weird War II is a rather popular setting. One of the games many people have played in the setting is West Wind Productions' Secrets of the Third Reich. Well, now WWP is running a Kickstarter campaign for a 2nd edition of their game.
Hey there, everyone. I hope your Saturday is going by nicely. Mine's doing just fine. I've got some Joy Division playing (They keep calling me!!) and after I finish typing this up, I'm going to play a couple games so I can write some review articles for the site in the next couple weeks. Should be a good time.

Anyway, the reason we're here is, of course, because we've collected some bite-sized stories for you and present them to you now.

In this batch we've got: The Fiver with Ben Pierro on Designing Foodtown Throwdown, Brigade Models Release Soviet Spaceships, Manorhouse Workshop Update #28 – Modular Underground Project – The Box, and Secrets of the Third Reich Second Edition coming to Kickstarter,

West Wind Productions is there to help make sure you've got a good gift to give the gamer in your life. They've started up their Box of Delights Christmas Special Offer deals over in their webshop for Empire of the Dead. Go get some alternate-history-Victorian minis for a special price in a special bundle. They're a great way to get into the game, or start a new faction.

From the release:
West Wind Productions expands their Empire of the Dead range with some new Victorian Thugs miniatures. They could also be used for any sort of Dickensian, "A Christmas Carol" scenarios you might feel like playing this holiday season.
... dang, now I hope someone comes up with that (if they haven't already).

West Wind Productions has unlocked Caesar's Legions over in their War & Empire Kickstarter campaign.

From the campaign:

An implacable foe has arisen a hero in Gaul. But fear not we shall parade this Vercingetorix in chains before the Senate. Long live the Republic!

Caesar's conquest of the Gallic tribes has gone down in history as a series of great victories culminating in his greatest triumph the siege of Alesia. We know this because Caesar said so in his book :) Our next Stretch Goal after Caesar is his greatest foe Vercingetorix.
