And it's underway. Privateer Press has launched their Kickstarter campaign for Warcaster: Neo-Mechanika, their new sci-fi miniatures game. Though set in the Iron Kingdoms, though far in the future, the gameplay is drastically different from the Warmahordes rules set you probably know. This is also the first of many planned Kickstarter campaigns for the game, with them coming out every couple months as they release new products for the line. But that's as may be. At the moment, they are just getting the game off the ground.

While they're still holding much close to their chest for Warcaster: Neo-Mechanika, Privateer Press is starting to give us a few more looks into what's coming. In this article, we get a brief look at an overview of the Iron Star Alliance, one of the first factions coming out for the game.

Warmachine, with its arcane turbines and flair for the electronic, especially in the case of factions like Cygnar and the Cult of Cyriss, always had a bit of a sci-fi vibe going for them, if you ask me. Well, now, Privateer Press is leaving nothing to doubt. They're coming out with an actual sci-fi game set in the far future of the Warmachine/Hordes world. It's called Warcaster: Neo-Mechanika and it's coming to Kickstarter soon.
