Jonathan Boydston & Joshua Robertson recently stopped by the Emporium and sat down with me to talk about their Kickstarter project. VOID is a decidedly non-Tolkien fantasy RPG inspired by Slavic, Mediterranean, and Middle-Eastern folklore. The game is designed be dark, gritty, and provide the old-school gaming experience using modern, character-focused mechanics. Void RPG up on Kickstarter now

Void, the tabletop RPG, is up on Kickstarter and looking for some funding love.

VOID is a PnP RPG that is designed to test the limits of your imagination in ways not found in other tabletop games. We wanted to create a game that allowed players to have deeper exploration of their characters. We also wanted to approach combat as a realistic and gritty experience, where some wounds may never heal. VOID brings these aspects to life through interactive combat, free flow sorcery, and a classless system. In addition to these new concepts, we have also created simple mechanics so that rule-delving does not interrupt dungeon-delving (but there’s no shortage of geekery for those players who seek it)!
