Trilaterum

Longtime readers know my love of 2-player starter sets for games. With a single purchase, you can get gaming right away with a friend. No need to worry about what, exactly, to pick up for a starter force, or make sure you have the right rules or dice or counters. The folks behind Trilaterum feel the same way, so they've got their new 2-player starter set, Encounter at Sarin's Rim, now available.

Humanity has always been a species of movement. "What's over there?" is in our DNA. In the distant future, this has included heading off of our planet in search of more places to colonize. Of course, we found out also that we weren't alone. Some alien races were kind. Others hostile. That's the world you find yourself in in Trilaterum, the new sci-fi minis game that's available to order now.

Who doesn't love saving money? I love saving money. So when there's a sale going on, I'll check it out. In this case, it's a sale on Trilaterum, a set of sci-fi miniatures rules for use with 15mm figures. You can get your copy at a special price for this week.
One of the big stories lately in the news is that there could be an Earth-like planet only 4 light years away from us. It's great to think of possibly going and visiting those places someday. Well, in Trilaterum, that's just what humanity has done. We've reached out for the stars and started to colonize. However, much like Columbus, we realized that we weren't always the first sentient group to end up someplace. Many alien species exist out there. And, well, miscommunication and such has, unfortunately, led to war. That's the story behind Trilaterum, a new sci-fi game that's available now.
And we've made it to Friday. The weekend is just a "rest of the work day" away. Unless, of course, you have to work on Saturday and/or Sunday. As someone who used to work at a hospital, I know your pain. Which reminds me, be sure to thank your LGS workers this weekend. Without them, we'd not have cool places to meet and play games.

In the meantime, though, we should fuel up on some bite-size gaming stories.

Today we have: Bombshell Miniatures Having March Madness Sale, Epic Wing pack Available From Puppets War, Tor Gaming Relics Videos Survey Contest, New 15mm Scifi Rules set in Development, Orc Mecha-Armours Weekend Special from Kromlech, and Bucks, Bullets, And Flowers Board Game Coming Soon To Kickstarter.
