Toy Vault

You know, even with the shorter week we've got going on, I still was thinking today was Friday. Last night before I went to bed and this morning when I got up, I was like, "Woo! Friday!" But then I saw my Thursday shirt laid out for me and I was like, "... oh... right..." Ah well, though it might be Thursday, we can still make the most of it, such as making your gaming tables look good.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Pwork Wargame Releases SAGA Battlemats, Official Union Gaming Mat Available From Deep-Cut Studio, Rampage Dungeon Kickstarter Running Now, and zfigs Modular Terrain Tiles Coming Soon.

I guess if you happen to be a nurse during WWII, being thrown back in time to 1743 might not be so bad. Sure, you don't have "modern" conveniences anymore, but hey... no Hitler. That's gotta be a trade-up, right? Well, you can find out what it's like for Claire Randall, who had that sort of thing happen to her in the Outlander series of books, as well as the television show. Soon you'll even be able to find out what it's like on your gaming table, as Toy Vault has announced they'll be coming out with Outlander: Destiny Dice next year.
Toy Vault has a shiny, new Firefly board game they're working on. Unlike the Gale Force 9 game that takes you out into the universe of Firefly, the Toy Vault game looks like it will feature more of the individual characters of the (sadly) short-lived sci-fi series. The scenarios in the box set will be taken directly from 3 of the episodes. Expect the game on store shelves in March of next year.

From the announcement:
Toy Vault is running a Kickstarter campaign for their new party card game, But Wait, There's More. They're over their funding goal already, so it's stretch goals for the next 10 days.
