The OP Games

Smash Up is custom-built for adding factions from pretty much every genre. Well, thanks to the team-up between AEG and The OP Games, we're getting some new decks coming in the form of Smash Up: Marvel. Yup, your favorite superheroes will soon have cards of their own trying to break bases and defeat minions.

The OP Games is bringing everyone's favorite yellow sponge and his whole host of underwater friends (and foes) to your tabletops in a pair of new SpongeBob Squarepants games. One's a version of Trivial Pursuit where fans of the show can put their knowledge to the test. The other is Plankton Rising, following other such Rising titles that the company has released.

There's a new Disney and Pixar movie out there called Onward that takes place in a modern-fantasy setting. That is to say that it's fantasy characters, but a modern world. And in said world, there's an RPG that the characters play. Well, soon, you'll be able to play as well as The OP Games has announced Quests of Yore: Barley's Edition, a new fantasy RPG based on the one seen in Onward.

Last week, we had ourselves a Friday the 13th. And while I'm not superstitious (I'm only regularstitious), there are many out there that take an extra look over their shoulder on that day. And if you're out at Camp Crystal Lake, you'll definitely want to watch out behind you, and in front of you, and anywhere else, because Jason's coming for you. And he'll be doing that in Friday the 13th: Horror at Camp Crystal Lake, a new board game coming from The OP Games.

Sure, there's plenty of spells you can cast with your wand, but there's also a wealth of different recipes for potions and different magical charms that can also help you in your plan to defeat the wizarding world's greatest foes. And that's just what you'll be tapping into with Harry Potter Hogwarts Battle: The Charms and Potions Expansion. This new set is coming soon from The OP Games.

Critical Role. I'm sure you watch it. Well, soon, you'll be able to bring their antics to your tabletop in a new form. Munchkin is infinitely re-skin-able. Now, the two are coming together to bring you Munchkin: Critical Role.

Bringing the rise of the Empire to your tabletops, The OP Games has released Star Wars: Dark Side Rising. Well, for some, anyway. Normally we get announcements that something's out in North America. This is the opposite. This game's esclusive to Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. So, if you're in the Americas, you'll have to find a friend in one of those places to pick one up for you and send it over.

At Hogwarts, throughout the year, the different Houses are engaged in a battle for points. Many things can bring honor or dishonor upon your House, causing a gain or loss in points. In the end, only one will be the winner. And that's what you'll be trying to be in the Harry Potter: House Cup Competition board game.
*puts on yellow jersey* Go Hufflepuff!

A new edition of Telestrations is coming soon. The game where players draw and guess out what they're trying to be told will be getting a new twist, turning things on its head with Telestrations: Upside Drawn. Players will still be trying to draw things out, but their partner can only tell them "up" or "down" in terms of directions.

"Candy apple red." "Sky blue." "Cammo green." There's a lot of nouns that tend to go along with a lot of colors. Matching the the color based on noun clues is what you'll be trying to do in Hues and Cues, a new guessing game coming this summer from The OP Games.

Jinkies! There's a mystery to solve, gang! And only us, a group of meddling teenagers and a pesky puppy can do it.
*investigating happens here*
Oh no! We've become trapped in this haunted mansion! How will we get out?

How, indeed. That's just what you'll have to figure out in Scooby-Doo: Escape from the Haunted Mansion, the first in a series of home escape-room-style games from The OP Games as part fo their Coded Chronicles line.
