The Ancible

The Ancible has decided to no longer publish their gaming magazine.

From the announcement:

We have reached the point that many small business reach. We need to make a decision about our future. The big dream of running a commercial business publishing stories, reviews, articles and battle reports has been an interesting one and has taken a lot of time and effort on the part of the production team but has not reaped the rewards that we envisaged.
The Ancible now has issue 18 available to download for your reading pleasure.

In this issue:

It has been 2 years since we started this little venture and we continue to go from strength to strength. Issue 11 our last issue did nearly 12K downloads and older issues are still being downloaded by those just discovering our publication.

Episode 2 of The Ancible Podcast is now available for download. From their announcement:
The second episode of the Ancible Podcast is available either from the ancible site or from iTunes. For those who heard Episode 1, its more of the same chaos. We have some guests in the podcave to talk about gaming in their area and all sorts of things go wrong on and off mic. Its wargaming but not as we know it.

The Ancible is reporting that their website is now back online. From their announcement:
After the unwanted interruption on the Ancible web site I am please to say that the site is up and running again all be it wil reduced functionality till the gnomes get their html hats on and get coding. Most importantly the forum and the downloads sections are functioning. Thanks for all the offers of help and the encouragement for what has been a couple of fairly fraught days.
The Ancible's website has been the target of a hacking attack. From their announcement:
Seems that we have made the potential hacking list and somone has hacked the site and used it for gathering phishing information. I am currently working with the ISP to clear the code and figure out how it happend. I appologise for fact that the site and email are currently not working. Normal service will be restored as soon as possible.
The Ancible is looking for writers to join the magazine. From their announcement:
Here at Ancible towers we have been beavering away for a couple of weeks now on a new idea and I would like to enlist the help of a few testers. The only thing you need to have is an iPad. If you are interested then please drop me an email at
