Well, we're mostly caught-up here after the Expo last weekend. Still a few things to deal with, but my inbox was actually down to a manageable level after going through it yesterday. Of course, it's now filled back up again, but waddyagonnado?

Another thing that's full is the box with the bite-sized stories we've collected over the past couple days.
Good thing it's time for our regular Snippets post.

In this batch we have: New Releases from Scotia Grendel, Mounted Heroes 3D Store Opening This Fall, Some More Installments of "The Fiver" with The Meeple Mechanic, Spirit of Slaughterloo scenario for Flintloque, Manorhouse Workshop Update #38 – Modular Underground Project – New Pledge and new Early Bird, Iron Battlefield: corridors, buildings and catwalks for Space Hulk & Infinity on Indiegogo, Siren Miniatures posts Concept art for incoming July releases, Japanese-themed Robin Hood figures on Indiegogo, New Colossal Zeppelin from Titan-Forge, New Dungeon Saga Tiles Previews, New Dungeon Saga Tiles Previews, Heroic Maps - Outstation H9-7M, Infinity Plus One Master of Coin Kickstarter Happening Now, Soda Pop Miniatures Previews Beach Party Marie-Claude, Tabletop-Art Previews new Terrain, Historical, Fantasy and Sci-fi Offers at, New Pulp Alley figures by Statuesque, and Demigods Evolution unlocks Angel of Death.

Seems just about everyone is looking to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Waterloo. The guys over at Alternative Armies aren't any different. Heck, with a game with a name like Slaughterloo, you knew they had to be doing something. Well, they're doing several somethings, actually. There's a free terrain piece, a sale, and a raffle, all going on until the 29th.
Hey everyone. I hope your weekend is going well. My Saturday was spent with some good friends that I don't get to see nearly enough, talking about glorious moments from games past, listening to some humorous gaming radio-plays, getting into wacky hijinks, and just generally being odd (while mostly listening to hair metal, because why not?).

As for today, it's time to serve up some bite-sized stories to you.

From the release:

New for Flintloque and Slaughterloo

Cryptmass on Valon is a scary affair for most. Not like on our world where the giving of gifts softens the heart and promotes love to all Men. Oh, no. On the magicke world of Valon the festive season is called Cryptmass for a reason. That reason...the dead rise. From their crypts and coffins for two nightmarish days as Wylde Magicke seeps up from the depths of the world. In more civilised places such as Albion and Krautia there are plans and organised gangs who go, shovel and swords in hand, putting the dead back to rest but in Al-Garvey its a little different. The Goblins and Dark Elves take to their homes and hearths locking doors and windows and taking the teachings of the Catatonic Faith wait out the scratching at the shutters. Goblins often hang a dead Dodo outside their door in an effort to distract the risen dead. Silly would they cook it?
Barking Irons put up a new article featuring the new Slaughterloo and Flintloque units, the Burrovian Guard.

which he uses in his own games of Flintloque and Slaughterloo. Let’s take a look at Wyndorcs Rangers

Barking Irons has a new optional unit for Slaughterloo up on their website: the Albion Base Camp.

From the website:

Heya Folks,

Whilst Elven surgeons piece together their fallen bretheren the Orcs of Albion have a somewhat different approach to getting their injured back onto the battlefield. These rules give Albion players a way to heal their troops in the same vein as the Elf Field Hospital. A seperate and very different unit to the standard Orc Camp Followers they can add an extra dynamic to your games of Slaughterloo.
