Random Solo Adventure

Well, the world has ended again. Damnit, Carl! You shoudln't've been messing around with that panel during the military base visit we were on! Now, you'd think that living in a post-apocalyptic world would already be pretty rough as it is. But then, the Death Skull Gang came to your little village and... well... killed everyone. Now, you find yourself without food, weapons, or much in the way of shelter. You're gonna have to head out into the wasteland to try and survive. That's the story behind Random Solo Adventure: Post Apocalypse, which is available now.
We've all done it. We've been watching a movie or reading a book and the characters will be about to do something and we'll scream at the screen/pages, "Don't go in there!" or "No! Go right! Go to the right!" or something else like that. Well, since we're not in control of said movie or book, we have to watch helplessly as the character does something we know we would never do. Well, what if you could control which way the character goes in one of your favorite stories? That's what the Random Solo Adventure books allow you to do. They're up on Kickstarter now taking on one of the all-time classic stories: Bram Stoker's Dracula.
PenguinComics knows some people might be curious about their Solo Adventure books, but might not want to initially spend money on one. It's ok. In this day and age, you've gotta be careful with your money. Well, they're helping you out and giving you a taste of what you can expect in their books by giving away their Ghost Manor book for free online. Well, it's actually "pay what you want" but even their recommended price is $0. But you can give them a couple if you want to.
It's not easy, boating around the South Asian Sea. A storm can come up out of nowhere and get you off-course. There's all sorts of coral reefs that you have to worry about. There's the possibility of just ending up on some island, far from any major civilization. That last one is just what happens to you in PenguinComic's second book in their Random Solo Adventure Book series, Jungle Quest.
The week continues on. How many of you are still working on Thanksgiving leftovers? Tonight will be the last of the sliced turkey and sweet potatoes for me. I do, however, still have many servings of soup left. Most of it went into the freezer for later. It's all good, but I'm reaching my limit on wanting to have it again for a while.

However, this weekend I'm going to be making fruitcake. :D

For other tasty bites, we've got our midweek snippets.
