Aaaaaaand we loop around to Monday.
No, I’m not really a fan of it, either. But, that’s the way the world works. We can still try and make the most of it by thinking about next weekend and the gaming that will (hopefully) be had. And with that gaming probably comes terrain.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Lord of the Rings Playmats Available From Fantasy Flight and New official Frostgrave Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
It’s slow going, ladies and gentlemen, but we’ll make it to that weekend eventually! I mean, time goes forward, right? Right?!
I don’t know, maybe it’s because I’m waiting on some packages in the mail, but it seems like this week’s taking an eternity. The last couple zipped by. This week? Not so much. But we just gotta hang on and we’ll make it there.
Plus, this weekend is Board Game Day up at the library. And while most don’t use much in the way of terrain, that doesn’t mean we can’t all enjoy terrain for whatever games you might be playing this weekend.
Today in the Terrain Corner, we have: Fantasy Flight Games Announces Two New Game Mats For Star Wars: Legion and New MDF Scenery Kits From Pwork Wargame.
Hey everyone out there in Internet Land. For those here in the States (besides Florida), how’re you handling the time change? Being a morning person already, it wasn’t so bad for me. I actually felt that much of yesterday was later than it actually was (so, the opposite of what you’d expect). I’d be going, “wait, it’s not 4:30 yet?” when it was actually something like 1:30. But I’m getting the hang of it. Anyway, we need to make sure your gaming tables look good.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Fantasy Flight Games Announces Priority Supplies and Barricades for Star Wars: Legion, North Pass Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, The Lost Islands 3D printable Terrain for RPG and Wargames Up On Kickstarter, and The Hall of Portals Gaming Map Available From Heroic Maps.
The work week continues along. I hope yours is going well. Mine’s had bits here and there, but more good than “meh.” So that’s always nice. Busy as always, of course, and so it feels the week’s been going by quickly. Always that new project to work on, it seems. Speaking of projects, I’m sure many of you are out there making great-looking gaming tables. Let’s help out with that.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Urban Sector Game Mat Available From Pwork Wargame and Acheson Creations Releases New Base Camp Fortifications.
Man, this weekend just flew by. I always kinda hope the work week does, but not so much the weekend. I like those to stick around for a bit. Well, here’s to hoping that this week goes by quick and then time slows down once more when we get to Saturday. In the meantime, let’s make your gaming tables look good.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Cosmic Game Mats Available From Deep-Cut Studio, West Land: Fantasy Gaming Mat Available from Pwork Wargames, and Forge Transport Platform Available From Tabletop Scencis.
It’s Monday. I hope your weekend was well spent. Here’s how I spent much of my weekend. Yes, there are plenty of mistakes that you can see even in that wide show. It’s been about 3 years since I painted anything, and before that, I wasn’t that great. But hey, they’re painted. It’s all about making your table look good. And having good terrain will also do that.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Amera Plastics Releases New 28mm styled North African Desert Building, Heroic Maps Celebrating 6 Months of their Patreon Map of the Month Club, and Dust Town Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
The weekend continues to draw ever-closer. Another couple days and we’ll be there. I hope you have gaming plans. I’m a bit up in the air at the moment. But that’s alright. Even if nothing fully materializes, I’m thinking I might work on painting the first minis that I’ll have painted in several years. It’d be my Fisherman Guild for Guild Ball (at least the main 7 players I choose). Wish me luck. But, in the meantime, as I contemplate making my figures look better on the table, let’s make those tables look better, themselves.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Terra-Former Passageway Tile Kit From Sally 4th, Combat Plaza: SciFi Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargames, and Brigade Models – Small Scale Walled Farms now Available.
It’s President’s Day here in the States. That means that many people are off of work. Hey, at least that means clearer roads around here today. I can certainly dig that.
But, as it’s also a Monday, it means we need to make your gaming tables look as good as possible.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Mos Eisley Back Alleys Skirmish Map for Imperial Assault Now Available; Heroic Maps – Modular Kit: Desert City – Streets, Rooftops & Markets Now Available; Frontier Land Games Releases River Town Map; and Frosty Plain Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
Happy Cheap Candy Day!
Quick! Before the stores swap out everything for Easter stuff, go grab yourself some red-tinted and heart-shaped boxes of goodies for less than you’d usually spend!
And with the money you saved on that candy, you can go get yourself some new terrain for your gaming table.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Heroic Maps – Day & Night: The Temple of Love Now Available, Candleholder set and kit Available From Tabletop-Art, and Deadland Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
So… it’s Monday.
Maybe we shouldn’t dwell on that, but, instead remember the games we all (hopefully) played on the weekend. Heck, my gaming started before I even left the office on Friday with a game of the Bloodborne Card Game. Then a game of Guild Ball on Saturday. Always wanting to get in more games of that. Plus, there’s always looking forward to next weekend’s games… and the terrain they’ll be using. And with that, we go to the Terrain Corner.
Today we have: Anvil Eight Previews Rhommox Faction Pylon, ShipWorks 3d Printable Ship Terrain Up on Kickstarter, Operation Alpha: SciFi Gaming Mat Available from Pwork Wargame, and Return Of The Gaming Mat From Battlefront.
Well, not every day can be the weekend, I suppose. You need a week to have a weekend. And if you have something, then you have the start of something. So, as it happens, Monday is the start of the week.
Ok, so my overly-long-winded way of saying, “It’s Monday again” is out of the way, let’s get to those terrain articles.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Sally 4th Plot Point of the Month – Chinese Altar, Hartenstein Hotel Available From Warlord Games, and Hellgate Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
We continue along with the work week. Hopefully, yours is going well. I know I’m ready for the weekend as much as I’m ready to be done with being sick (every day, I hope it’s “the last day of this crap”). But as I pine for a day where I don’t cough, I also look forward to giving you the day’s terrain stories.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Harbor Minis From Brigade Models, New Imperial Armored Containers Available From Tabletop Scenics, City Ruins Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, and
Ooof, it was not the best of weekends, having been sick. Thankfully, even though it’s still pretty early in the morning (as I’m typing this up, anyway), I’m feeling better now. I think I turned a corner on it overnight. We’ll see how the rest of the day goes. I need to heal up. Gotta be ready for my friend to come over next weekend and do some gaming. Also, we’ve got our regular terrain feature for you today.
In the Terrain Corner we’ve got: Axolote Tiles Up On Kickstarter and Woodland Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
The weekend’s almost here! As always, I really can’t wait. A friend’s coming in from out of town to hang out and play games for a week or so. It’s Game Day up at the Milton Library this Saturday (if you’re in the Atlanta area, be sure to stop by and say hi). Since we’ll be gaming, there will be some terrain out there. And we want that terrain to look good.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: TinkerTurf Terain Up On Kickstarter, New Containers and Crates Available From Tabletop Scenics, New MDF Terrain From Pwork Wargame, North Pass Gaming Mat Available from Pwork Wargame, and Wyrd Previews New Terrain.
Ok, now I can finally talk about Thursday’s Terrain Corner, because it’s actually Thursday. While I still woke up thinking it was Friday, my mind’s recalibrated and it actually does feel like a Thursday (being in my Thursday shirt helps, though I was also in my Wednesday shirt yesterday and that still had me feeling off, so there’s that). Anyway, with a long weekend for many of us coming up, I hope you’ll have some time to game. And, when gaming, it’s good to have good looking gaming tables.
In the Terrain Corner today we have: New Kits Available To Pre-order From Plastcraft, New Battle Map Available For for Memoir ’44, MapForge Battle Map Creator Up On Indiegogo, and Dark Gotham Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
So, there’s currently a storm absolutely blanketing the East coast in all sorts of wintery weather. Stay safe out there, everyone. Might just want to hunker in the bunker and play some games. And while it might be too late to get these terrain pieces for the current winter weather storm, you might just want to pick them up for the next time you get snowed in.
Today in the Terrain Corner we’ve got: Industrial Ruins Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, Heroic Maps – Castillo de la Costa Rocosa Bundle Now Available, and Tabletop Scenics Previews New Terrain.
We’re one week from Thanksgiving, my absolute most-favorite-est day of the year.
… And I have a metric-****-ton of things to do before we get there! O,o
My metaphorical work plate is piled higher than my actual plate will be next week at this time. So while I chew through this mass of projects, take a look at these new terrain articles that’ll make your gaming table as pretty as your dinner table in a week.
Today we have: B.A.S.E. System Sci-Fi Terrain Up On Kickstarter, Hobgoblin3D To Launch New Kickstarter Campaign, Manorhouse Workshop Update 18 – Forgotten Halls – New accessories shown at Essen, Pwork Wargame Releases Redone Lands of Mars Mat, and New District 5 Lightboard Available From Micro Art Studio.
And as happens every week, we’ve rolled back around to Monday. It was an… interesting weekend. The “chill” did happen. Though I did do some cooking. I made Igor Bars. But not much else… Watched a lot of stand-up comedy on Netflix. Sometimes you just need a “chill” weekend. And that’s exactly what I needed. But I still thought of gaming. A Friend came over and we played a bit of Guild Ball on Friday before he had to go. But, seeing as it’s Monday, let’s get your gaming tables looking good.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Plastcraft Games Previews New Post-Apocalyptic Terrain, New Mousepad Mats Available From Pwork Wargame, Heroic Maps – Teoyohtlan Jungle: Cave of the Golden Tombs now Available, and The Bantam Alley – Wargaming Terrain Extras Kickstarter Happening Now.
It’s a frosty, frigid morning here in Atlanta. I know most Southerners think that anything below 60F is “freezing” but it literally was freezing this morning (as evidenced by having to scrape frost off my windshield before driving into the office). So while there might be frost on the pumpkins, it’s still Halloween Eve. And two terrain companies are having sales so great, they’re scary! (ok, not really scary, but I don’t get to use such a cheesy line too often). Battlefront is also talking about their new pre-order terrain.
Anyway, we’ve got: Terrains4Games Halloween Sale, Pwork Wargames Halloween Sale, and Battlefront to Launch 2018 Premium Property Pre-order Deal.
The week continues along. This has been a pretty good one, I must say. My new dice came in. So I’m happy about that. We’re also getting ever-closer to the weekend. I’m making plans not only for Saturday gaming, but hopefully a regular RP here at the office starting next week. So that should be fun. But, in the meantime, let’s get your gaming tables looking good.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Sci-Fi Terrain Available From Battle Systems, and Volkano Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
My week continues to rocket by, so it feels. That’s not a complaint, mind you. Anytime the work week goes by quickly, looking to toss me back into the weekend, I’m happy. Not that I dislike what I do, of course. But, c’mon… weekend! Anyway, just the rest of today and tomorrow to get through and we’ll be back there. In the meantime, let’s make your gaming table look as good as possible. It’s a quick one today, it seems.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Lands of Mars Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame and Fantasy Barrels Available From Siren Miniatures.
And here we are, back at Monday. Thinking back, this is the first Monday in the last 3 that I’ve been at the office. Last week was the storm, and the week before was Labor Day. My Monday shirts got a bit of a vacation, I suppose. But they’re back it today, and that means getting your gaming tables looking good.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Final Days for ESLO Terrain Printable Ships Kickstarter, New Mousepad Material Mats Available From Pwork Wargame, DRAGONLOCK™ 3 Kickstarter launches September 19th, Dungeon Box RPG Scenery by Custom Terrain Up On Kickstarter, Normandy Church Terrain Available From Tabletop-Art, Forge Prints Running Adventurescapes Kickstarter, and Heroic Maps – Storeys: Pyramid of the Sun Priests Now Available.
The work week rolls along (that’s a pun for my friend Gavin who just dumped a bunch of ball bearings on the floor, apparently). We’re another step closer to that always-anticipated weekend (at least, I always am anticipating it). Here’s to hoping yours is filled with gaming (mine will probably be filled with baking). And when gaming, it’s good to have as good-looking a gaming table as you can. So let’s help with that.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Brigade Models Update, Heroic Maps – Spacecraft: HLS Perceptas Now Available, Sally 4th 28mm scale US Arts & Craft Style Buildings Released, Table of Ultimate Gaming Huge Campaign Detail Update Completed, Cobblestone City: Fantasy Gaming Mat Available from Pwork Wargames, and Samurai Fleet Available From Papierschnitzel.
It’s Monday morning here (though I know this is going to be posted in the afternoon). I’m trying to type up as much of my posts today before the storm gets really bad, just in case power and/or internet goes out. Also, working from home since they closed the office. But neither rain nor sleet nor snow nor slush shall keep me from getting you those gaming news stories. At the moment, it’s making sure your gaming tables look as good as possible.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Test of Honour Lantern & Katana Ruler Set, Heroic Maps – Modular Kit: Mossy Dungeon Corridors Now Available, Acheson Creations to Launch Kongo-Afrika Kickstarter, Terminus Segments Industrial Set Available From Micro Art Studio, and The Valley:Fantasy Gaming Mat Available from Pwork Wargames.
Sure, it’s Thursday, but for some reason, I was thinking it was already going to be Friday at this point. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. It’s already a short week, what with having had Monday off. But it still felt like it should already be Friday by now. However, it is not Friday. It is Thursday. That means it’s time to make all your gaming tables look as good as possible.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Outpost Bazaar: Open For Business, Heroic Maps – Spacecraft: Greywing Map Released, Heroic Maps – Spacecraft: Old Scoter Now Available, Star System Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, Roads of War Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, and Deep-Cut Studio Releases Aerial Game Mat For WW2 Themed Dogfights.
Another month is coming to an end. August has been quite the month. Gen Con was simply amazing, as always. But as we move into September, with the temperature falling along with the leaves from the trees, we’re entering my favorite time of the year. However, it’s always a good time of the year to have cool gaming tables. And that’s just what we’re here to help with.
Today in the terrain corner we have: Ice Planet Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, Acheson Creations Releases 7 New 28mm Plastic Accessories, Urban Sector Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, and Heroic Maps – Spindlecave River: Rogue’s Nook Now Available.
I realized, as I drove in this morning, this was the first Monday out of the last 3 that I’m just coming into the office to do my “regular thing.” 2 weeks ago, I was leaving for Gen Con. Last week, I was just flying home from Gen Con. Man, that show really does eat up a large chunk of time. So, in the spirit of getting back into the regular routine of things, lets make your gaming tables look as good as possible.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Infinity Terrain From Warsenal and Ice Planet Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
Hard to believe it’s Friday already. A week ago, we were into the 2nd day of Gen Con. This week has been one of recuperation from the show along with trying to catch up on almost 2 weeks’ worth of e-mails. O,o
So, while I sit here, listening to Austrian Death Machine (thank you, Raoul, for the suggestion), I am sorting through the last of the things I had to put off for the show, and get totally caught back up. That includes another combined Snippets/Terrain Corner post (since I had another one of those just the other day, I figured combining another today would be good, with going back to the standard rotation next week).
Anyway, today we have: Prime Knight Battlewalker Available From Puppets War, New Releases Available From Killbox Games, Kentucky Sawdust Labor Day Sale Coming, Darkburg: Fantasy Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargames, Acheson Creations Releases 13 New 28mm Plastic Accessories, Devil Dungeon Scenery & Battle Mat Released by Dark Art Studios, New Art Decks from Post World Games Up On Kickstarter, New Infinity Terrain Available From Micro Art Studios, Tabletop Fantasy Football Accessory Figures Up On Kickstarter, New Stretch Goals in the Tubular Buildings Kickstarter, Brigade Models – New French Aeronef, and Suburban Gaming Mat Available From Warzone Studio.
As I’ve said numerous times over the past couple weeks, Gen Con is coming. Like… tomorrow. There’s going to be, oh, about a bajillion things going on, so it’s best to stock up on some bite-sized gaming stories. Plus, since we didn’t get it on Monday (and there’s a chance I might not be able to get to it tomorrow), let’s go ahead and get some Terrain Corner pieces in here, too.
So, in all we have: 1-48TACTIC now has free add ons, Warzone Studio Releases Gigafactory Battle Mat, Brigade Models Releases 2mm Scale City Blocks, Crocodile Games Releases Remastered Abominable Snowbeast, Badlands: Fantasy Gaming Mat Available from Pwork Wargames, New Statuesque Female Heads on Sale for 10% off, Darkmook Paper Miniatures Releases Supernatural Western Town Terrain, A Dog’s Life Introduces Tillman the Skateboarding dog, The Army Painter Announces Runewars Paint Sets, and Arid Plain! Fantasy Gaming Mat Available from Pwork Wargames.
This week, to me, is just rocketing by. Though I’m in my Thursday shirt, it certainly feels like it should only be, like Tuesday or something. But no, it’s Thursday. Which, of course, means that, a week from this posting, many of us will be in downtown Indy, chest-deep into Gen Con’s first day.
… I have so much stuff still to do…
*stares wide-eyed at nothing in-particular*
… Ok, but before then, we need to make your gaming tables look good.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: War Sands: Fantasy Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargames, Battle at the Mummer’s Ford Added to A Song of Ice and Fire Kickstarter, Promethium Rig Added To Tubular Buildings Kickstarter, and Acheson Creations Releases next six products from Dungeon Worlds 3 Kickstarter.
You’ve got the hype, right? This is the last full week before Gen Con. This show is going to be entirely off-the-hook. And there’s going to be plenty to see there, including some awesome-looking gaming tables. If you want your gaming tables to look that good, you’ll want to check out the stories below.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Final Week for Eslo Terrain On Kickstarter and Frost Grave Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
This week is still rushing by. That’s not a complaint, mind you. This weekend I plan on helping a friend get settled into his new place. Of course, that means unpacking board games. And if a couple of those games just happen to get played before they get sorted onto the shelf, that’s just the sort of risk one takes in life. But before we get there, we need to make sure everyone’s gaming tables look as good as possible.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Terrain Sets Added to A Song of Ice and Fire Kickstarter, Dark London Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, and New Items Added to WarStages Kickstarter.
It’s back to the office for most people, me included. It’ll be alright, though, the weekend will make it back eventually. And, hey, we’re about to finish up another month and make our way into August. So that’s good.
What is also good is making your gaming tables look as good as possible. So let’s do that.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: West Land Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame and Wargame-Model-Mods Running Tubular Buildings Kickstarter.
Man, most of yesterday, I felt like it was Thursday. This morning, I was thinking, “man, it’s Friday. Nice.” And then I realized that sad truth: the weekend was still another day away. Probably doesn’t help that I’ve not been feeling all that great the last day or so. So I’m hoping for the weekend to hopefully get over whatever I might be picking up. But that’s as may be. In the meantime, we need to get your gaming tables looking good. So, let’s get to it.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New 2D Terrain from Dicey Ventures Studios, Raging Heroes’ WarStages: The Gothic Cathedral Kickstarter Launches This Weekend, New District 5 Staircase and Holoads From Micro Art Studio, and Combat Plaza Game Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
It’s back into the office for most of us. Hopefully your weekend went well. I didn’t get any tabletop gaming in, but I did have a great time with a friend I’d not seen in a bit. So I can’t really complain. Also got a ton done around the apartment. But next week there will possibly be gaming. So, better make sure my gaming table looks as good as possible.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Survival Range Releases From Antenociti’s Workshop, Dust Town: Fantasy Gaming Mat Available from Pwork Wargames, Fantasy Flight Games Releases Swamps of Nal Hutta Map for Imperial Assault, and British Street Items Available from Warlord Games.
