Perry Miniatures

Happy International Tabletop Day, everyone! *party cannon*
I hope you're celebrating in style. I know some of you are out at KingdomCon. Others of you are at PeteCon. Still others are just hanging out at your LGS getting your gaming on. Well, however you're celebrating, I hope the dice/cards/whatever are in your favor. Remember, it's all about having fun and making friends.
Anyway, if you're wondering what game you should play today, maybe some of these reviews can help out.

This week we've got: Firefly: Crime and Punishment expansion, Strife: Legacy of the Eternals, Clans of Caledonia, Quartz, World's Fair 1893, Game of Trains, The Captain is Dead, The Walking Dead: All Out War, Farsight, Martians: A Story of Civilization, Zephyr: Winds of Change, Exit The Game, Morels, and Perry Miniatures' Confederate Infantry.

Warlord Games' team-up with Perry Miniatures brings you even more figures for you historical wargame fans. This time around it's British Infantry styled on the uniforms used by those stationed in Afghanistan and Sudan from 1877 to 1885. They're suitable for use if you're playing games set during the Second Afghan War, Sudan, and the Third Algo-Burmese War.
Welcome once again to Saturday. It's been quite a morning over here. Rather busy for a Saturday. Biggest thing I've been working on is my decision to magnetize my Betrayal at Calth set (yes, this means it's not 100% assembled yet. The games I've been playing of it have been using stand-in figs for much of it. It happens). The only problem comes from maneuvering small, fiddly pieces that, very literally, will move on their own. As such, I have glue all over my fingers. Thankfully, though, on at least one occasion, that's helped me when my drill bit slipped and instead of giving me a scrape, it just gouged the glue that'd built up there. So, an asset hidden in a liability.

But that's a story for when I post the review later today. At the moment, we've got other reviews/previews to deal with.

In this batch we have: Late French Napoleonic Infantry from Perry Miniatures and Warlord Games, Dark Moon, Clockwork Kingdom, Queen of the Hill, Dice Masters: The Amazing Spider-Man, Conquest at Kismet, Barony, Star Wars Armada Wave 2 Ships, Tides of Time, Pentoggle, Mars Attacks Miniatures Game, Risk: Star Wars Edition, Space Cadets: Away Missions, Bomb Squad, Escape the Nightmare, and T.I.M.E Stories.

Perry Miniatures are now accepting orders for their 28mm Napoleonic Prussian Infantry 1813-15 figures. Napoleonic Prussian Infantry 1813-15 From their website:
Just put your order in the normal way and we'll post them to you as soon as we get them in. Alternatively, these will be available for the first time at our stand ,TG 12, at Salute on the 16th April and then on general sale thereafter. We will have a large stock at Salute. The set comprises of 40 Line Musketeers/Grenadiers plus a detachment of 6 Volunteer Jaegers which were attached to battalions. The 40 infantry will give you a full strength battalion at 20:1 (for man-sized games), although we will be making the command frame available to buy separately too (direct from us) for those who use a different ratio. There are enough heads with covered shakos for all the figures in the box. In addition there will be heads with the Line Feldmutze and peaked Schirmutze for the Jaegers as Silesian units had them. Likewise the Jaeger belly pouch is separate as some Volunteer Jaeger units had them. Most figures are in 3 pieces as we realise people like to build up units quickly, so you have the head , equipment (knapsack, haversack, cartridge box, short sword and half the greatcoat are in one piece) and body to put together.
