Novus Design Studio

The weekend might be over, but the weekend sales aren't. Cyber Monday is here and there's still some new deals to be found. What sort of deals? Just go check 'em out. But note: many of these end today, so you'd better be quick.
Steady-on, folks. The weekend is getting ever-closer. I'm still working on recovering from the plague that I apparently caught last weekend. Here's to hoping that it clears up more by the time this weekend shows up. In the meantime, we've gotta talk about making your gaming tables look as good as possible.

In our Terrain Corner today we have: Manorhouse Workshop Update #29 – 3 Bases that complete the 3D Bases project, Manorhouse Workshop Update #30 – Test for the new Add-ons Packs for the 3D Bases, The Deadland: Pwork Wargames fantasy gaming mat now available, Sea Dog Game Studios releases 2 New Ship Kits, Novus Design New Finished Fountains 15mm & 28mm, Operation Alpha: Pwork Wargames science fiction gaming mat now available, and New Rune Stone Sets Available From Tabletop-Art.

To think that just a week ago, at this point I was just hanging out, playing some Ascension, thinking about getting that first turkey in the oven. Sorry if it seems I keep going on and on about it, but it really was a great Thanksgiving, and it is my favorite holiday of the entire year. This year's proved why. Good friends. Good gaming. Good food. Lots to be thankful for. That includes, of course, good terrain.
Because transitions!

Anyway, in today's terrain corner we have: Heroic Maps Modular Kit: Town Shops 1 & 2 released, New Infinity Warehouse Table Set available from Micro Art Studio, and Flexible 15mm River & Road system Released by Novus Design Studio.

Did anyone else's weekend just fly by? Heck, all of last week seemed to just rocket by. I usually end up with the same checkout clerk at the grocery store, since I go fairly early on Saturdays and there's only a couple lanes open. I remember saying, "... didn't we just do this?" Her week had gone by pretty fast, too. So it wasn't just me.
But whether or not it's gone by in an instant, or leisurely strolled its way by, we've made it once again to Monday.
... yay?

Well, one thing we can celebrate is a good-looking gaming table. That's what this post is all about. It's today's Terrain Corner.

In this batch we have: Acheson Creations Releases the Alpine Trench Section #4, New Heroic Maps: Wardenhale Public Spaces Released, Games Workshop Taking Orders for New Age of Sigmar Terrain, Novus Design 28mm Medieval Range Now Available, ProMatz - The worlds first customizable industrial grade gaming mat on Kickstarter, and ModelEarth posts latest terrain releases.

Wednesday. Is there a day that personifies the progression of the week more than Wednesday? We've made it through Monday and Tuesday. Thursday and Friday are ahead. Stuck in the middle is Wednesday. Saying "it's all downhill from here" isn't exactly the right phrase, but you get the gist of what I'm going for.

Anyway, we've got another set of bite-sized news stories for you for today.

In this bunch we have: Hydra Miniatures posts Retro Raygun Preview Video, Recon Force Alpha PDF From Finger and Toe Models, Alewood - A Modern Tabletop Drinking Game Preview, some new installments of The Fiver from The Meeple Mechanic, Sally 4th Releases Public House from range of photorealistic building kits, Tabletop-Art Previews Upcoming 32mm Bases, Queen of Hearts WIP & New Bases for your miniatures by Kabuki Models, Kromlech New Release - Legionaries Pistols, New Release: 15mm Stalingrad/Russian Buildings from Novus Design Studios, New 6mm scale superheavy tank pre-orders from Gregster's Lab, and New Steampunk Bases From Fat Spider.

From the preview:

Hello everyone!
I have posted some teaser pictures and I’m looking for feedback

Here are some images of the new models in our upcoming 28mm Sci-Fi release. These are the first two structures in a series of 6 new models. In addition, Novus is releasing 2 new Sci-Fi crates (pictured with buildings) which will also be made available with the release.

Buildings feature battle-damage and are absolutely loaded with tech details. Models will accommodate several figures and weapon systems and are stackable so you can mix and reconfigured with other models for variety.

The figures are 28mm and are used for scale purposes only. I incorporated many of the ideas that were posted by gamers to make these terrain features as functional as possible while enhancing your gaming experience.

All 6 building models plus the 2 new crate designs are scheduled to be available for purchase June 16. I will post additional images of other models and retail prices soon. Thanks!
