Ninja Crusade

The Year of New Editions means that those games need expansions and supplemental material to go with them. Such is the case with Ninja Crusade. They're into their 2nd edition and so it's time to get some new sourcebooks for it. Such as Empire's Reign. It's up on Kickstarter now.
The Izou Empire is looking to eliminate all the world's ninjas. Sure, it's a pretty tall task, but they've got the resources to potentially do it. It's up to you and your other fellow ninjas to keep the Isou empire from succeeding in their goal. Granted, your "fellow ninjas" used to be your most-hated enemies as well... So, you know, there's that. "The enemy of my enemy may also be my enemy." You'll have to be careful if you want to survive. That's the story in Ninja Crusade, the 2nd edition hardcover book of which is available for pre-order now.
At the suggestion of a friend, I recently watched through a bunch of the Naruto anime series. And while I can't say that I particularly liked the show, itself, the concepts of all the various ninjas was pretty cool. Special Jutsus and Chakra energy and all that other kind of high-flying fun stuff would be great to play as an RPG. Oh hey! Look! It's Ninja Crusade 2nd Edition, now available in pdf format. Just what I was looking for.
Is the week racing along for everyone else or is it just me? Hard to believe that it's already Wednesday. Seems that we just started this week a couple days ago... Ok, so we did just start this week a couple days ago, but you know what I mean. What it does mean, though, is that we've got a midweek Snippets post for you.

In this batch of bite-sized stories we have: Kensei Coming Soon To Kickstarter, Awaken Tabletop RPG Passes Funding Goal on Kickstarter, Final days for Wolf & Hound on Kickstarter, Final Hours for Ninja Crusade 2nd Edition On Kickstarter, Final Hours for Spellbook Gaming Boxes on Kickstarter, Skirmisher Publishing Releases 100 Oddities for a Graveyard, Licensed Coins from The Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit on Kickstarter, Fireforge Russian Infantry sculpting completed, Squadron Strike Ship Book 2 Back in "Print" as a PDF, The Ion Age: Rewards Programme upgraded and expanded, and Kromlech New Release - Legionary Chain Axes.

And here we are again at Wednesday. I hope your week is treating you well. The hectic nature of the early week is making its way for a generally calm mid-week. With any luck, that will continue on.

One thing we have going on today is our Midweek Snippets.

I remember back when I would spend far too much time at my old LGS in St. Louis, there was one other regular who was taking "ninja classes." I don't know if he actually did go to them or not, or what he was learning while there. I just know he was the envy of some of the other kids there. Well, those other kids could now have their own ninja aspirations in RPG form with Ninja Crusade 2nd edition, up on Kickstarter now.
