Midweek Snippets

It's August. And I know that this month is still summer, but... I mean, they're already selling Reese's Pumpkins at my Kroger (and have for 2 weeks now). I've got the doors and windows open because it's only supposed to get into the upper 70s here today, and I've put on my Type O Negative station on Pandora. It's autumn, as far as I'm concerned. And as the season for tricks and treats gets started (for me, anyway), let's get you some bite-sized gaming stories as well.

New Releases Available From Zenit Miniatures

A whole new batch of releases are available over at Zenit Miniatures, and they're bringing out the big guns, literally. The greatest superheroes in the DC universe are gathering together for a secret meeting. However, everything isn't as it seems. One of them isn't who they say they are. The Joker has grabbed a disguise kit and gotten in on the group chat. As the superheroes work to tell the location without explicitly giving it away, the Joker must keep their identity secret. North Star Games Releases Dude and More Dude Card Game

Dude! Dude. Duuuuuude! Dude? Dude. *nods sagely* Dude.
It's a word that basically can mean pretty much anything you want it to mean. And, in North Star Games' latest game, Dude, you do just that. Players draw cards with different ways to say dude and you must try and match up with someone else meaning the same thing as you all say dude in different ways. More Dude brings in things like saying dude like a robot or a surfer and such. Both are available exclusively from Target and Target.com.

Fantasy Flight Previews Rebel Commandos For Star Wars: Legion

While the Rebellion might've started out as just a rag-tag group of individuals fighting against the Empire, they've become a fighting force that, while they can't match the Imperial's numbers, they can certainly match their skill. Steamforged Announces New Big League For Guild Ball

Latest Releases Available From Privateer Press

Two recent factions are getting things this release wave from Privateer Press. The Crucible Guard, the brand-new alchemist faction has a trio, including Combat Alchemists, the Dragon's Breath Rocket Launcher, and the Liberator light warjack. Then, sneaking its way in there, is the Hollow Holden attachment for the Grymkin. Kinda out of nowhere with that one.

Paizo Previews Multiclassing and Archetypes in Pathfinder 2.0

Fighter/Rogue, Wizard/Ranger, Warlock/Barbarian, there's all sorts of combinations you can make. Multiclassing is a way to have a bit of variety with your characters. New Kill Team Starters, AoS Kits Available To Order From Games Workshop

Games Workshop is bulking up both of their latest games with this week's pre-releases. For those that have picked up Kill Team, there's some new starter sets, including Tyranids and the Imperium (plus loads and loads of new dice. #NoSuchThingAsTooManyDice). For those that are going along with the new edition of Age of Sigmar, both the Stormcast Eternals and the undead are getting new releases, including a new version of the legendary Black Coach.
