Legends of Kalidasia

While 2016 was the Year of New Editions, that doesn't mean we won't be getting new editions of games here in 2017. Starting out, you can now pre-order Legends of Kalidasia: Heroes of the Heragul, which is the 2nd edition of the game. If you're interested in some sci-fi starship action, you might just want to check it out.
And we're walking.
And we're walking.
And we're walking.
We're making our way through the week.
It's Wednesday and it's time for some bite-sized gaming stories.

Today we have: Mekawing Z 1.9.5 released in English, Selina Special offer By Battlegate Games, MidKnight Heroes opens up back end pledges for the Super Chibi Kickstarter, The Argyle Frigate Miniature is now Available for Legends of Kalidasia, Raging Heroes Releases Nepharya (NecroPriestess), Tabletop-Art Previews Space Dungeon Round-Lip Bases, Counterblast - free Beta Rules Posted, Heroic Scale Female Heads 2 available to Pre-Order now From Statuesque Miniatures, Bad Squiddo's Women of the Red Army go on Pre-order, and Final Week for Twisted Kickstarter.

Ah, Sunday.
For me, at least, the relaxing day of the week. Sure, there's chores to do like laundry and cooking for the week, but overall, it's a day to just relax a bit. Also, I'm told there's some major sporting event-thing going on today. Ok, I know it's the Super Bowl. But I'm more of a "hockey" guy than a "football" guy. But hey, if you are going to watch the Super Bowl, nothing goes better than a bunch of bite-sized snacks.

Speaking of bite-sized, here's some bite-size stories to munch on.

Today we have: ADAPT Card Game Reaches Funding Goal, Nightmare Forest: Dead Run Reaches Funding Goal, New Old West Releases From Knuckleduster, Battle Arena Show Reaches Funding Goal, New Statuesque Asylum character and TWO new sizes of female head sprues, New Warsenal Limited Edition Unit Markers for Infinity The Game Released, New Video Preview for Polyversal 6mm SciFi Game, The Rhinotaur Added to Circle of Chaos Kickstarter, Age of Tyrants announces how to play videos, The Dryden Heavy Destroyer Miniature is Now Available, and Mountain Miniatures preview pics for End of Times Kickstarter.

Taking a break from the RPG Kickstarters for a minute.
Is the week going by quickly for anyone else? On my ride in to work today, I looked down at my dashboard and saw my odometer and, for a moment, went, "why is that so high? It's only Tues... oh... wait... it's Wednesday. Ok, that makes sense."
But seeing as it is Wednesday and all, we should have ourselves a Midweek Snippets.
Man, this is also the first Wednesday in a couple weeks where I don't have tomorrow off. Makes me a little sad, but I'll get through it, somehow.

Anyway, today's batch of bite-sized stories includes: Skirmisher Publishing Releases 100 Oddities for a Wizard's Tower, New Year's Sale Happening Over at Advanced Deployment, Pulposaurus Entertainment Updates About the future of Conan: Rise of Monsters, New Praetorian Helmeted Heads From Puppets War, Chemical Spill: the Chemistry Card game: two weeks left on Kickstarter, Massive Awesome Announces Launch Date For Shattered Earth Kickstarter, Purgatory Posts New Previews, New Year's Sale From Dark Art Miniatures, Iron Cross Miniatures Posts New Fireteam Release, New Dwarf King from Scibor, Too Fat Lardies Christmas Special, BattleGateGames Releases New Bust, New Battlefields XP Tufts From The Army Painter, ArmiesArmy 15mm Cold War Kickstarter is Live, New Paint Storage Systems from Burn In Designs, New Lower Pricing on Legends of Kalidasia Starter Sets, New Releases Available From Hinterland Miniatures, "Shieldwolf vs Orcs" launches on Kickstarter Tuesday 12th January, and Chicago Shootout reaches 50% funded on Kickstarter.

The weekend is once more almost upon us. We stand at the precipice of two whole days of not-work (well, I'll still be making updates, but that's alright). I've got a big model-building project for the weekend that recently showed up. I'm really excited for it. All The Bitz!... Which reminds me, I'm gonna need to pick up more glue...

Anyway, before we get there, we need to chew our way through some bite-sized stories.

Today's batch includes: The Surakari Invasion $2.99 Sale, New Renders for Wild West Exodus Posted, New Antares Battle Supplies Available From Warlord Games, New Santa Dwarf from Kabuki Models, and Blackout Kickstarter makes subtle but important changes to goals.

Available in two sizes - 6 feet by 4 feet and 3 feet by 3 feet, it is perfect for use with Legends of Kalidasia: Rise of the Surakari as well as other space combat miniature games.

Legends of Kalidasia has a preview up of some more warships that will soon be blasting their way onto your tabletop.

From the preview:

I’ve been teasing this announcement for quite some time, but you don’t have to wait any longer. Pictured above are the Oscoda, Dryden, and Argyle class warships. To see more images, and to help get these figures into production, please contribute to my Colayth Guard Warship Figure Line Kickstarter Project. I’m looking to raise $3000 in order to get a small production run of these figures completed.

Legends of Kalidasia now has their Externion Fleets expansion available both in print and as a .pdf.

From the release:

The latest expansion to Legends of Kalidasia, which introduces the Colayth Guard fleet, is now available for sale in both print and PDF forms.

Since the earliest days of the Heragul Empire, the Exterion Fleets have explored beyond the boundaries of known space. It was the Exterion Fleets which first encountered the Krylan, the Thaylex, and likely the Surakari. However, an encounter with a Krylan speaking alien race calling themselves ‘The Colayth Guard’ will prove to be the greatest diplomatic challenge to the Empire yet.

Legends of Kalidasia: The Exterion Fleets introduces the third combatant race into the Kalidasia universe. The Colayth Guard carry some of the heaviest firepower of the Kalidasia warships, but lack the advanced active armor system. For the first time ever, command a fighter carrier as the flagship of your fleet. Unleash new warships, new weapons, and unique special abilities as you defend your territory against Heragul aggression.
