Judge Dredd Miniatures Game

Warlord Games has picked up the license to create miniatures and games based on the popular, British sci-fi magazine, 2000 AD. This magazine includes comics such as Judge Dredd, Strontium Dog, Nemesis the Warlock, and others. The weekly publication has been around for over 40 years. Warlord had been distributing for the Judge Dredd Miniatures Game from Mongoose, but now they will be in charge of it directly.
While the recent Judge Dredd movie is very gritty and rather dramatic, the comic for the series was a bit more... well, madcap and fancy-free. How else would you be able to explain giant robots in bright colors and rather cartoonish proportions? There's nothing inherently wrong with cartoony robots, mind you. Bah, any way, there's new releases for the Judge Dredd Miniatures Game available from Warlord Games.
The fellows over at Warlord Games have been pretty busy this holiday season. They're giving us quite a treat with all the previews they've been posting. There's a new trio of them to take a look at today. It's a bit of everything, from Weird War II, to sci-fi, to pulp history.
Alright, alright, alright! What's all this, then!?
Fancy a cuppa? I'll put the kettle on.

Warlord Games has released the new Brit Cit Judges for the Judge Dreddd Miniatures Game.
Sometimes you just gotta have something a little faster when you have that need... that need for speed! If that's the case and you're playing the Judge Dredd Miniatures Game, then that means you should go and get yourself a Banshee Interceptor. Nothing in their arsenal is faster.

Street Judges have to be ready for just about anything. This includes having gear that won't quit on them when they need it the most. That's where the Tek Judges come in. They're the mechanics, scientists, and engineers of the Justice Department's staff.
Warlord Games knows that there's more than Judges and Criminals in the Mega-Cities of the world (no, really, the criminals have to be criminal to someone, after all). As such, they've come out with two sets of citizens you can add to your Judge Dredd games.
It's some quite interesting headgear these figures are sporting. I need to get me a winged helmet at some point.

From the website:
Warlord Games adds to the colorful cast of characters with the Judda and the Klegg Invasion Force. Far removed from the gritty world of the most recent Dredd movie, these figures are all rather garish in their appearance. The Judda, a group of cloned judges, sport wild versions of the standard judge gear. And the Klegg, a group of rampaging gator/dinosaur-men, are sure to bring along their klegghounds, with them to battle.

These two sets are now available, with their rules in the new Blood on the Streets supplement.

From the website:
Warlord Games has their first ever Judge Dredd supplement available. It's filled with new hero Talent trees for advancing your characters during campaigns, new army lists for your forces, and scenarios. Woo boy do they have scenarios. They've got 75. Yeah, 75. That should keep you and your other Judge Dredd players busy for quite some time.

The laaaaaaaaaw!
