Indiegogo

We've arrived, beautiful readers. Friday is here and we're making our way through it to the weekend. It won't be long now and there'll be a couple great days of just hanging out and maybe doing some gaming. I'm happy because my friend came back from LVO and brought me the new Season 3 cards and a couple players for Guild Ball. So I'll be assembling Granite and Veteran Siren either tonight or tomorrow, with them hopefully seeing the pitch soon. Best to make sure I'm well-fed on some bite-sized gaming stories.

Today on the platter we have: AEG Announces Thunderstone Quest Coming To Kickstarter, Sacred Sword Chibi Minis Up On Kickstarter, Nuclear Shrimp Posts Black Earth Indiegogo Preview, Tabletop-Art Releases Ancestral Ruins banderoles and symbols, Apocalyptic Upgrades Sci-Fi Minis Up On Kickstarter, Chronicles: The Game Coming To Kickstarter Later This Year, MidKnight Heroes Super Chibi Round 2 - Reboot Pledge Manager Now Open, Trollkins Minis Up On Indiegogo, 28mm Greek/Macedonian Figures Up On Kickstarter, Simeon and His Buffalo Available From Golem Miniatures, and Soviet Passenger Trays Available From Dark Art Miniatures.

So, who's ready for the Super Bowl? Being here in Atlanta, there's certainly a lot of hype going around about it. And that's making a lot of people want to get out their fantasy football teams (that is, high-fantasy) and play some games. Well, the folks over at GoblinGuild Miniatures have a new team that you can check out over on Indiegogo.
We're halfway there, everyone. Midway point of the week. The weekend's coming ever-closer. Hopefully you have some sort of gaming plans scheduled. I mean, it's the weekend. Don't want to just be sitting at home doing nothing (though, actually, there's something to be said about that from time to time, too). Well, no matter what you do, we need to finish up this week first. So let's get some energy via bite-sized gaming stories.

Today on the platter we have: Brigade Models Release Updated Japanese Aeronef, Black Earth 28mm tabletop wargame launches on IndieGoGo in February, Purgatory is entering the final 2 weeks of Pledge Manager, Krakon Games Kickstart their Scum & Smuggler characters, Latest Releases Available From Dark Sword Miniatures, New Legionary Releases From Kromlech, Ludus Magnus Studio Announces Sine Tempore Board Game, Tabletop Tyrant Miniatures Cases Up On Kickstarter, New Releases Available From Victoria Miniatures, Khurasan releases 15mm T-64BV Tank, and Hardwood deck boxes with Illuminated artwork on Kickstarter.

The end of the American Football Season is almost here, but that only means it's time to start prepping for next year. Why not get set for the next season with a new team? That's just what Franchise D.R.A.F.T. is hoping you'll do, as they've got a fantasy football team up now on Indiegogo.
The final week of 2016 continues on. I know a lot of people are enjoying a bit of a break here at the end of the year. Many game companies are taking a little bit of time off. But that's not to say we don't have a good bit of bite-sized stories to snack on.

So let's get to it.

Today we have: Tactical folding kit for board RPGs on Indiegogo, Victoria Miniatures Previews 2017 Releases, Nightmare Forest: Alien Invasion Coming to Kickstarter, Oddzial Osmy’s 3mm December Releases Arrive at PicoArmor, Advanced Deployment After Christmas Sale, New Battle Rulers Available from Kromlech, and Tercio Creativo Christmas Offer Going On Now.

So the middle of yesterday sort of dragged along, but overall the week is still going by in a flash (for me, at least). Hopefully you have weekend plans like I do. We're going to be having a build party for my friend's original Kingdom Death set. Though, really, I'm gonna be trying to get people to play Guild Ball, instead, since I didn't get a chance last week like I was gonna have. :P

But in the meantime, we need to make your gaming tables look as good as possible.

In the Terrain Corner today we have: Frontline Games 20% OFF Holiday Sale Plus Special Deals, Dungeon Worlds Part 3 Kickstarter Stretch Goal #2 Posted, New Micro Art Studio battlefield terrain, Deep-Cut Studio releases a new game mat for Dropzone Commander, GAMEIN5D Foldable Game Board On Kickstarter, Deadland: Pwork Wargames Gaming Mat Now Available, Final Hours For Exotic Locations Indiegogo Campaign, Heroic Maps Whitlark Forest Trading Post Now Available, and New Tyranid Hive Planet Mat From Warzone Studio.

The days have circled around again and we find ourselves deposited in a Monday. I hope you had a good weekend. I spent Saturday playing Small World and Ascension with some friends. Then on Sunday I assembled a bunch of another friend's Guild Ball models, because I enjoy assembling figures and he's been super-busy lately.
But that's as may be. It's time to make sure your gaming tables look as good as possible.

Today in our Terrain Corner we have: Battlefield in a Box: Automobile Garages (BB211), Exotic Locations Pulp Terrain up On Indiegogo, Manorhouse Workshop Update #7 – Hard Plastic -Forgotten Halls: Stairs & Upper Floors, Early Bird Sale from Miniature Building Authority Happening Now, Heroic Maps - Discover: Valley of the Ancients Now Available, Great Again Gaming Mat Available From Warzone40k, Deep-Cut Studio launches 9 new game mats for Fantasy Football, Manorhouse Workshop Update #8 – Hard Plastic – Forgotten Halls – A scale, and Warland: Pwork Wargames Fantasy Gaming Mat Now Available.

Storytelling is as old as communication. It's been an integral part of society since we were all sitting around fires, talking about the last mastodon hunt. Since that time, many different games have looked to bring a bit of structure to collective storytelling. The Plot Thickens is one such game, and it's up now on Indiegogo.
The other day, I posted a story about some new flying creatures designed for The 9th Age. People were pretty excited to see the game system get some love. Well, here's another for you. Hidden Dreams is running an Indiegogo campaign to create a group of Sylvan Elf miniatures for use with The 9th Age.
Alright, everyone. We've made it halfway through the week. With just a bit more work, we can make it once more to the weekend. I'm confident that we'll be able to do it. But before then, we'll need to refuel with some bite-sized gaming stories. Good thing that's just what's on the menu right now.

On today's platter we have: Tricorn Games Looking for Flipped Off! Playtesters, New Kromlech Orc Mecha-Armours Bundles, Brand New Magic: The Gathering - Puzzle Quest Update (v1.6) Features Shadows Over Innistrad Card Set, Purgatory start design of their Youtube channel, Dark Art - Aug Releases - Ghouls, Undying Dynasties Indiegogo from Tabletop Miniature Solutions Funded, Vampire Hunters - Final Hours on Kickstarter, Avatars of War Releases The 9th Age posters & flyers, PolyHero Dice - Wizard Set Up On Kickstarter, Gangfight Games Moves Blackwater Gulch Kickstarter Launch Date, and Kromlech Heavy Duty Knife Now Available.

Well, it's been a bit of a short week here in the office, having only come in Wed-Fri. Though, with having just a little time off from Gen Con, it felt much longer. I'm looking forward to a weekend of doing probably not all that much at all. Just some time to decompress a bit. Should be nice. Lets me put together some of the figures I got at the show. To do that, I'll need energy. Energy in the form of bite-sized gaming stories.

On today's platter we have: Forest Goblins multi-part plastics is Shieldwolf Miniatures Coming To Kickstarter, Xtraidos Crowdfunding Campaign Launched, TinMan's 35% Off Back In Business Sale Ends Soon, Oddzial Osmy’s 3mm August Releases Arrive at PicoArmor, Victoria Miniatures Female Greatcoat Legs and BFG Ammo Crates Now Available, and New Undead Orcs From Scotia Grendel.

Seeing as how Monday I was in a car for about 13-14 hours, I didn't get a chance to do the regular Terrain Corner piece. So, much as I did Friday, with the combined Snippets/Terrain Corner post, I'm giving you another of those today. Gotta catch back up from Gen Con.

Anyway, today we have: Live Q&A For Tablescapes Dungeons Today, Blood Moon expansion is out for Talisman: Digital Edition, Holistic Design Inc. and Canivete Films Announce Portuguese Fading Suns Translation, Heroic Maps release Modular Kit: Forest Glades, Khurasan releases multiple pose crabmen set, New Statuesque Fine and Pulp Scale Female Heads 2 on sale, Armorcast Announces: All Hail the Mesmofrog, RPG Combat Maps: Pwork Wargames grid gaming mats now available, Hitech Miniatures Releases Traveler Priest Dante, Brassed Off - etched brass modelling details On Indiegogo, New Model 30 Billboard From Mechanical Warhorse, Sports Inspired Card Deck Up On Kickstarter, Khurasan releases The Great Swamp Lizard, and Final Days for Unit RPG Up On Kickstarter.

So, I have made it to Indianapolis for Gen Con.
And I'm sitting in my hotel room, sorting e-mails, replying to e-mails, and typing up these posts. I hope you all appreciate it. ;) :P
Anyway, seeing as it is Wednesday (though it certainly doesn't feel like it, at least to me), it's time for some midweek snippets. I know I need to stock up on some bite-sized gaming stories before the hurricane of activity that'll happen over the next several days.

On the platter today is: Sasquatch Game Studio announces Alternity science-fiction roleplaying game, Dized Board Game Companion App to be at Gen Con, Deadman Diaries a new gamebook from Cubus Games, Victory Point Games Previews Upcoming Kickstarter - Planet Rush by Reiner Knizia, Sharknado Board Game Coming To Kickstarter August 13th, Heavy Metal by Acheson Creations is Funded and with a new pledge level, Entries now being accepted for the 2016 Windhammer Prize, Tabletop Miniatures Solutions Running Undying Armies Indiegogo Campaign, War Co. Coming To Kickstarter August 15th, D13 and D15 debut from Impact! at Gen Con, Hitech Miniatures Releases NoeProspector Virgilius, TinMan 35% Off "Back In Business" Sale Happening Now, and New Marian Romans From Xyston Miniatures.

Well, as it so often does, the world has once more come to an end. Damnit, Carl! I told you to not push that big, glowing button on that military console! Now we're living in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, where resources are scarce, and humanity is just barely scratching by, with rival gangs hunting each other down to control the few pieces of real-estate that aren't garbage. That's also the story behind Afterglow, a new sci-fi skirmish miniatures game that's up on Indiegogo.
In the world of Contagion, there's a secret war going on in the shadows. Just out of view, unknown by basically every person on Earth, there's a battle going on between various factions for the control of not just the Earth, but all of the souls of its inhabitants. It's not just Angels and Demons, either. Various other factions look to carve out their own spheres of influence. Well, that "shadow war" is about to become a lot less shadowy. That's the set-up for Slouching Towards Bethlehem, a new expansion for Contagion 2nd Edition, and it's up on Indiegogo now.
The week continues along. How's yours gone? Mine's been alright. But I am looking forward to the weekend. But then again, you already knew that. I'm always looking forward to the weekend.

But before we can get to the weekend, we need to get through today. And before we can get through today, we need to get through our Terrain Corner. So let's do that.

Today we have: Axolote Gaming Running 3d printed tiles and scenery Indiegogo campaign, Maze of the Dead by Wargame-Model-Mods Breaking Through Stretch Goals, and Lands of Mars: Pwork Wargames Gaming Mat Now Available.

The week rolls on. We've made it to Wednesday. I'm hoping your week is treating you well. After this, it's downhill to another weekend. We can certainly make it if we try. Until then, we should stock up on some bite-size gaming stories. And that's just what we have here.

On the platter today is: Brother Vinni Releases New Shadows for Their Dungeon Sisters, The Lords of Rock Kickstarter is coming August 1st, Gale Force Nine share more details on Tanks Organized Play, Kromlech Releases New Legionary Close Combat Arms, New 30mm and 40mm Space Dungeon Base Deals from Tabletop-Art, Werewolf Star Player Added To RN Estudio Indiegogo Campaign, Hitech Miniatures Releases Sanctifier Cornelius, Rebel Minis Releases New 28mm Forsaken Packs, Pre-Order Roleplaying Spell Effects on Backerkit, and Kromlech Releases New Orc Incinerator Team.

The week continues along, as it tends to do. It's only just today that I really realized that this upcoming weekend is a long one for those of us here in the US. The 4th of July falls on Monday. So that'll be cool. Time for some BBQs. But before we get to the hamburgers, hot dogs, and fireworks, we'd best fill up on some bite-sized gaming stories.

Today we have: Khurasan releases 15mm Ancient Siamese, Trailer Park Zombies Up On Indiegogo, Dwarven Mountain Rams Riders from Scibor Now Available, New Player Boards for Power Grid by CorSec Engineering, Attaking the Darkness Mockumentary is free until July 1st, New Ravens Available From Tabletop-Art, Big Magic: The Gathering - Puzzle Quest Update, Casual Game Insider Coming to Books-A-Million And Launching New Kickstarter, Wildside Gaming System to be Released as a Free App, Skirmisher Publishing Releases Quantum Flux: Unique Superscience Artifacts, Syrinscape Releases Gen Con Soundset, and New Legionary Ranged Arms Available From Kromlech.

Woo! Friday! Woo!
*runs around with arms over my head*
The Gateway to the Weekend is once more upon us. In just a couple hours, we'll be enjoying a couple days off to do whatever we want (hopefully that involved gaming). We'd best make sure we've got enough strength. That can be gained by noshing on some bite-sized gaming stories.

Today we have: Viking Raid and Shaleground Flat Bases Now Available From Tabletop-Art, More busts released by Shieldwolf Miniatures, Raging Heroes introduces the Davidians sculpts, Happy Seppuku Texture Presale Happening Now, New Sci-Fi/Modern Minis From Rebel Minis, Barbaric Splendor Kickstarter One - Personalities is now live, RN Estudio Unlocking Stretch Goals In Revenants vs Ancestrals Indiegogo Campaign, and ThunderChild Miniatures Remasters and Releases Gnarly Pilgrims Minis.

Well, we know that Blood Bowl will be making its way back to gaming tables in relatively short order. So it's a good time to get set with a new team (or 20) for when that drops. RN Estudio has made many teams in their day, but they're never satisfied and want to make even more. As such, they've got another pair of them up on Indiegogo.
So, this isn't specifically a story about gaming, but much like the dock workers strike last year, it will have a major impact on gaming (possibly much more so). PayPal is amending their User Agreement to no longer cover refunds in case a Crowdfunding campaign (I.E. - Kickstarter and Indiegogo) fails to deliver their products. This change will go into effect on June 25th.
We know that Blood Bowl will be making a return soon. With that, I've seen people dusting off old teams or starting to think about getting a new team. With the idea of new teams in mind, Goblin Guild is running a fantasy football team Indiegogo campaign.
The relaunch of Blood Bowl is ever-approaching. I know a lot of people are excited about that. Despite only being fan-driven for years now, side companies have made a living by creating alternate teams for the game. Well, MK1881 has a new Beastman team up on Indiegogo.
From my experience, every gamer out there has a game that they've been working on in their head. Some even make it to written notes or even a prototype form, but they don't tend to get much further than that. Well, if you really do want to try and take the plunge into publishing your game, Hasbro and Indiegogo are willing to help via their Crowdfunding Game Challenge.
This is actually a relaunch of sorts. Due to a technical error, the original campaign was cancelled. But now they're back and on Indiegogo. The substance of the campaign is the same, though the goal has been lowered slightly and there's a shorter, overall, funding period for it.
