You know I'm a fan of games with odd premises. And this is one of the more odd ones I've seen in a while. Houston, We Have a Dolphin is a social deduction game where players are trying to figure out who among their space ship crew is a dolphin, sabotaging their space flight. Yup... Anyway, the game is up on Kickstarter now.
From the campaign:
An anchovy in the floppy drive? This could only mean one thing... "Houston," The captain grabbed his first mate, “we have a Dolphin!”.Devious dolphins had found their way onto the spaceship and sabotaged the on-board computer. To reset the system, the energy demand needed to be reduced. Therefore, three ship modules had to be decoupled.
The only way to do so, was by sending astronauts on dangerous spacewalks. But whom to trust? The dolphins were still on board and once they infiltrated a team, their newfound friends would fight for the dolphins cause.
Will you regain control of the spaceship or do you fight for a wetter world?
The campaign is up and over its funding goal with 26 days left to go.
