Hinterland Miniatures

Taking a break from the RPG Kickstarters for a minute.
Is the week going by quickly for anyone else? On my ride in to work today, I looked down at my dashboard and saw my odometer and, for a moment, went, "why is that so high? It's only Tues... oh... wait... it's Wednesday. Ok, that makes sense."
But seeing as it is Wednesday and all, we should have ourselves a Midweek Snippets.
Man, this is also the first Wednesday in a couple weeks where I don't have tomorrow off. Makes me a little sad, but I'll get through it, somehow.

Anyway, today's batch of bite-sized stories includes: Skirmisher Publishing Releases 100 Oddities for a Wizard's Tower, New Year's Sale Happening Over at Advanced Deployment, Pulposaurus Entertainment Updates About the future of Conan: Rise of Monsters, New Praetorian Helmeted Heads From Puppets War, Chemical Spill: the Chemistry Card game: two weeks left on Kickstarter, Massive Awesome Announces Launch Date For Shattered Earth Kickstarter, Purgatory Posts New Previews, New Year's Sale From Dark Art Miniatures, Iron Cross Miniatures Posts New Fireteam Release, New Dwarf King from Scibor, Too Fat Lardies Christmas Special, BattleGateGames Releases New Bust, New Battlefields XP Tufts From The Army Painter, ArmiesArmy 15mm Cold War Kickstarter is Live, New Paint Storage Systems from Burn In Designs, New Lower Pricing on Legends of Kalidasia Starter Sets, New Releases Available From Hinterland Miniatures, "Shieldwolf vs Orcs" launches on Kickstarter Tuesday 12th January, and Chicago Shootout reaches 50% funded on Kickstarter.

Hinterland Miniatures has three new releases available over in their webshop.

From them to you:

Hi All,

It's been a while, but I finally have some new Hinterland minis to release. Not a large collection, but certainly varied. First, an idea I started more than a year ago, is the Hinterland robot, aka: Autohusaren. This is a multi-part, semi-poseable, 40mm tall bodyguard/sidekick for the hussars. He's based on artwork by Matt Leahy, and is laboriously sculpted by Paul Hicks, who playfully (I think) hated me by the end of the process.

The second release is a vehicle crew, including a morale-lifting accordionist.

Finally, I have Princess Tatiana, a limited-edition reward mini for customers who spend at least $50 (before the added S&H):

Thanks for your interest.

Hinterland Miniatures has several new releases for February available over in their webshop.

From the release:

I'm pleased to announce a hodgepodge of new releases at Hinterland, including the Trench Raiders - Lancer, the Hussars - Gun Crew, and the Sailors - Maxim PomPom. All sculpted by the talented Paul Hicks, with accessories by eBob and Brent Dietrich. Thanks for your interest.

Hinterland Miniatures has several new releases available now over on their website.

From the release:

I have a few new Hinterland releases; a couple of them long awaited. First up is Princess Cecilie, finally mounted. I was always a trifle surprised with the initial Cecilie’s popularity, and I trust this one will go off just as well. Probably completing the cavalry collection is a mounted Command pack, with a battle-hardened officer, a bugler, and a standard bearer. And finally, the Trench Raiders get some firepower (pun intended) with these Flammenwerfers, featuring two operators and an NCO bodyguard. And while you're checking out the Hinterland ladies, notice that I snuck in a pack of pulpy men (!) a few months ago. Thanks for your interest.

Hinterland Miniatures Announces New Releases:

From their announcement:

For the hussars we have cavalry figures and medics. And I’m pleased to finally reveal a little offshoot force, the Sailors. They come in the Firing Line, Unit Builder, and Command packs.

I hope you like. Among the next round of releases I’ll have an open-handed cavalry figure, a new pack of Trench Raiders, and a top-secret surprise.
