GCT Studios

The Risen Sun era of Bushido is here. GCT Studios' fantasy miniatures game gives you a lot more for your forces than just the figures. There's the special decks that go along with each faction as well as the new Risen Sun Cycle Deck. Want to get your hands on it as soon as it's available and be  your first gamer on the block with these cards? Pre-order your copy now.

I have often lauded starter sets for games as a great place to get going in a game. They're usually a force ready-to-play once out of the box (and sometimes assembled) that can get you going. But what if you're wanting just a single mini out of a starter box? Well, if you played Bushido, you'd've had to just buy a whole box. But now, GCT is offering all the minis from their starter sets as singles.

Bushido, the miniatures game with far-Eastern flair from GCT Studios, is getting a new edition soon. Along with pre-orders for the new 2-player starter, you can get five of the different clan starter boxes as well.

Bushido (I'll admit, one of my favorite miniatures games), is getting a new edition. It's called Risen Sun and GCT Studios has started taking pre-orders for it. You can get the rulebook. You can get replacement card decks. There's even a 2-player starter and faction starter sets that you can get. If that weren't enough, there's a pre-order exclusive miniature going along with it as well.

The next wave of Bushido releases is coming from GCT Studios. They've got a preview of these six new figures up over on their website. One's a group of giant crabs! They've also updated their playtest rules, including the various Faction decks, so you can check those out as well.

I could sit here and post a Black Friday Sale post every half-hour and still be at it for days, it seems. So, instead, I'm bundling all the ones I'm coming across together here for you. Peruse at your leisure.

GCT Studios has a lot going on for you in this update. They've got a new painting competition they're running over on their website. They've also got a huuuuuuuge preview of the next wave of Bushido releases.

There's a bear. An actual bear. So you know I'm excited about that.

GCT Studios will have a new wave of Bushido releases coming out soon. They've started the previews with a look at the first piece of artwork for a new figure. Along with that, they've been working on a new design for their stat cards. They're showing off what they've come up with there, as well as asking for your feedback.

The bears are back in town.
Or at least, they're making their way to town. The Minimoto Clan is coming to Bushido, and you can pick up the first couple items now from GCT's webshop. The pre-order includes the starter, a couple support packs, and the Theme Card Pack. Orders will start to ship from August 1st.
GCT Studios' Bushido is getting a bear clan.
Yes, I am excited. Thank you for asking. They're the Minimoto Clan, and we get another preview of what they'll be all about over on GCT's website.
I like to be an informed customer. I like to know what I'm getting before I get it. That especially holds true with my gaming dollars. So I love seeing stats for figures online. And that's just what we've got here for Bushido. If you've been wanting to check out Wave 40, here's all the stats.
Bushido is getting a Bear Clan.
Yes, I'm hyped.
One of my two favorite minis games is getting a clan based on bears. What else could I really ask for?
They've posted up a first preview, giving us a bit of insight into what they had in mind while working on the units for the faction.
GCT Studios has been busy working on the next wave of Bushido releases. To get you hyped, they've posted up all the artwork for the minis that'll be coming out next as part of Wave 39. Along with that, they've posted their plans for the UK Games Expo as well as BonesCon.
Gordon and Odin over at GCT Studios have been busy bees. The next batch of Bushido releases is coming up. We've seen some artwork, but this time around, we get a look at the renders for the Wave 38 minis. They've also got some info about BonesCon, that they are sponsors of, and the tourneys that will be happening there.
GCT Studios continues to work on Bushido, and I, for one, am always excited about what they come up with. In this case, they're coming out with a griffon. I don't currently play the Kage Kaze Zoku faction... but I just might start up, what with getting a griffon and all.
GCT Studios has gone through some changes in the past year. There's been an upswing in players, and this has led to greater resources for those behind the company. However, it also means more time devoted to the product, which can be hard. It's sad to say that one of the founders, Toby, has left. However, Odin and Gordon are working harder than ever, and they've got a look at some Bushido Wave 38 artwork to prove it.
It would seem as though Gordon and Odin have gone a little ape over at GCT Studios. And by that, I mean that they've posted up a new piece of artwork for Bushido featuring a new ape character. They're also being a bit of a tease about it, not giving us much info beyond just the art piece. So if it's a new faction or an addition for an existing one, we're not 100% sure.
Up at my LGS, one of my favorite miniatures games has seen an upswing in people playing. Bushido is always growing, and soon, they'll have another wave of figures available to purchase. Wave 37 is now available to pre-order. So, if you want to be the first gamer on your block with these figures when they're released, you'll want to put your name down on the list.
GCT Studios is giving us a sneak peek into what's coming up for Bushido. They've posted some new artwork for minis that'll be released in Wave 37 for the game... ... plus an extra. Yeah, apparently they posted one piece that isn't going to be in the next set of releases. But hey, we can still look at it and say how cool it is. Just gotta wait a little longer until it hits your tabletops.
Hey everyone. We've made it around to another weekend. I said I was going to probably be doing some baking. Well, I've got some magic cookie bars cooling right now. I love these things... probably too much... *looks at my stomach* ... definitely too much.
But issues with my waistline aside, I hope you're having a good weekend so far. I'm sure many of you are out gaming, which is awesome. But if you're stopping by here, I know it's because you want to check out those gaming reviews I know you all so desperately desire.

So, as I sip on a Pineapple Crush and wait for these bars to finish cooling, today we have: The Walking Dead: All Out War, Exit the Game, Legendary: X-Men Expansion, Orleans, Quantum, Race for the Galaxy App, First Martians: Adventures on the Red Planet, Serengeti, Stone Age, Maze Racers, Purrrlock Holmes: Furriarty's Trail, Memoarrr!, The Goonies Adventure Card Game, Photosynthesis, Incantris, Hafid's Grand Bazaar, Ascension X: War of Shadows, Fate of the Elder Gods, and The Champion of the Wild.

Once more it's early in the A.M. and I'm up. That's just my schedule. But I've got another batch of galleries to show off from Day 2 of Gen Con. Remember, the best way to see these immediately is to follow us over on our Facebook page. Anyway, let's get to it!
Gamers love being the first one on their block with the latest releases when they're made available. One of the best ways to insure that you've got your new figures first is to pre-order. Well, for those who are fans of Bushido from GCT Studios, you can put your name down on the list to get their latest wave of releases. They also have a new token set you can order as well.
Hunted throughout the Jwar Isles, the Blood Brothers and their servant are mercenaries who will sell their services to various factions in order to gain some coin and continue on their flight from the law. They'll be a new edition to your Bushido choices, working for many of the factions, each one bringing a unique set of skills to the tabletop.
Ecosystems are fragile things. Everything is interconnected. Change one thing and you change everything. This is certainly true out on the Seregeti. It's that balance that GCT Studios looks to replicate in Seregeti: A Race for Life. It's a new card game that they've got up on Kickstarter now.
Wave 36 is apparently going to be bringing something new to Bushido from GCT Studios. What is it? I don't know. I tried asking Odin but he was pretty tight-lipped on the whole thing. Cheeky bastard. I know he's holding out on me. For now, we've just got this little art preview to go on.
