Frothers' Charity Fundraiser

The Judges have voted, the votes have been counted, and I am pleased to announce the results.

A huge thank you to all the participants the judges and entrants. It has been an honour to view these as they came in, laughing my head off at some and being awed by others.

The committee, are now arguing about the merits of the non first place entries, to decide which to request for the mould for the "notable entries"

Ladies and Gentlemen.... and Extraterrestrials and Mechanoids.

The 2014 Frothers Sculpting competition entries are in.
The Judges are making their decision and this years judges are :


Sci Fi and Hobby legend Rick Priestley, now at Warlord Games
Sculpting legend Kev White, from Hasslefree Miniatures
Sculpting legend Nick Bibby, the sculptor of the original space marines and now does lovely bronzes at NickBibby Bronze Sculpture.
Simon Bradley from Stone Cold Lead, an excellent painter.
Bill Proebstel, probably the best scouter for new sculpts on the web.

The results will be announced as soon as they have been collected and complied.

It's that time again for the (semi) annual Frothers' Charity Thingy.This years subject is 'Sasha' based on concept art by the uber-talented Mr Des HanleyFor more details click the linky :)

Thanks to everyone that has so generously already donated to this year's fundraiser. The total raised so far is now over £3,300!

The 'bad' news is that the allocation of the metal version of 'Sasha' (being sculpted by Tre Manor of Red Box Games and cast by The Mouldmaker.com) have all gone :(

The 'good' news is that Ed from Troll Forged Miniatures has, most generously, offered to cast another 120 in his 'Trollcast' plastic/resin mix.
