Fireforge Games

The American football season continues along while I'm sure many of you are in leagues for tabletop versions of the game. If you're looking to branch out to a new team, I might suggest checking out Fireforge Games' Amazon SmasHers Kickstarter. It's a set of 16 figures, all different, that are ready to hit the field and... well... continue hitting things.
It's time once again for Friday. Now, normally, the week after a "short week" (such as last week) feels like they take forever. At least, to me they do. That's why if given my druthers, I'd have a Monday off rather than a Friday. You get a long weekend and then a short week, as opposed to a short week, long weekend, then a regular week. But that's me. Anyway, I'm happy to say that this week feels like it's just flown by. Here we are already ready for a weekend. And baking fruitcake will be my reward.

But before we can get there, we have some business to attend to, such as a group of bite-sized stories we've collected over the past couple days. What sort of stories?

Ones like these: New Releases Available for Wolsung SSG from Micro Art Studio, Khurasan pre-release deal for 15mm late Cold War armour, Shark Day Miniature Available From Wonderlands Project, Krampus for Kaiju Kaos: The Miniatures Game Released, New releases for By Fire and Sword, Coming Soon - The Prometheans from Nexus Miniatures, Kromlech Legionary Thunder Gun with under-barrel Plasma Gun Now Available, Slavic Fantasy Miniatures Kickstarter by Deraj Studios has Launched, WH40k: Tactical Objectives App Release Date Announced, Post Captain Squadron Action Scenarios Posted, Bombshell Babes 2 on Preorder from Bombshell Miniatures, and Alexander Nevsky ready for Forgestarter campaign.

Is the week racing along for everyone else or is it just me? Hard to believe that it's already Wednesday. Seems that we just started this week a couple days ago... Ok, so we did just start this week a couple days ago, but you know what I mean. What it does mean, though, is that we've got a midweek Snippets post for you.

In this batch of bite-sized stories we have: Kensei Coming Soon To Kickstarter, Awaken Tabletop RPG Passes Funding Goal on Kickstarter, Final days for Wolf & Hound on Kickstarter, Final Hours for Ninja Crusade 2nd Edition On Kickstarter, Final Hours for Spellbook Gaming Boxes on Kickstarter, Skirmisher Publishing Releases 100 Oddities for a Graveyard, Licensed Coins from The Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit on Kickstarter, Fireforge Russian Infantry sculpting completed, Squadron Strike Ship Book 2 Back in "Print" as a PDF, The Ion Age: Rewards Programme upgraded and expanded, and Kromlech New Release - Legionary Chain Axes.

It's starting to really get cool outside overnight. Literally speaking, soon the frost will be on the pumpkin. And that's here in Atlanta. I'm sure any of you gamers further north than I have already experienced such.

So why not make up a batch of hot cocoa and huddle up next to the fire and read about some gaming news, eh? Laptops are nice and warm, after all.

In today's batch of bite-sized stories we have: The Campaigner Survey 2015, Oddzial Osmy’s 3mm September Releases Arrive at PicoArmor - Including the B17, Oldhammer gets a new figure range from stalwarts of the gaming Industry, Creature College in its last week on Kickstarter, and Forgestarter Medieval Russians started.

Hey everyone. Hope your weekend is going along well. Mine included some time at the mechanic, some time with friends (new and old), and some time watching Good Eats, because every day should include some time watching Good Eats (if it's going to be a good day, anyway.

Quick Sunday Snippets for you today. Two bite-sized stories to nibble on for your Sunday afternoon.

We have: Brigade Models - 15mm Kirin Combat Walker and Arab Armoured Archers Pre-Order From Fireforge Games.

It's a rainy Sunday here in Atlanta. Seems like just the time to make some caramel-filled chocolate chip cookies.

Also seems like a good time to give you some bite-sized stories we've come across over the past couple of days.

In this batch, we have: Fireforge New Deals, Great Escape Games Posts FAQ for upcoming Iron Cross WWII rules, and "By Fire and Sword" North American webstore is ready to go.

It's always good to see a company listening to the people. What better way to make sure that what you're doing is in line with what your customers want? Fireforge Games is looking to make some new plastic sets. But which ones should they make? That's where you come in. Vote for your favorite and the set that gets the most votes will be made next.
Welcome back to Wednesday, beautiful readers.

As is our custom, we've collected up some of the bite-sized stories we've come across in the past few days and present them to you now.

In this batch we have: Expedition Adventure Card Game Coming to Kickstarter, New Undead Warband releases at Pendraken, Blackwater Gulch Savage Beasts Kickstarter Coming Soon, Hitech Miniatures Releases Lord Cruentus, First Team Yankee Models Sighted at Breakthrough Assault, Fireforge Crusader Archers Pre-Order available, Treasures of the Haunted Tower Now Available, Ironwatch releases their State of the Watch for 2015-2016, Primer on Patrol Angis Posted, ClearHorizon Miniatures releases the 15mm Armadillo APC, and New 30mm and 40mm Cobblestone Base Deals from Tabletop-Art.

Welcome to Sunday. Hopefully you had a good day yesterday. I had my character die in my D&D game, but it was scripted that way, as I am taking back over DM duties for the campaign. It should be a good time.

Anyway, it's Sunday and we've got another batch of bite-sized stories to present to you.

This time we've got: Some more Installments of The Fiver from The Meeple Mechanic, Drill Sergeant free miniature for May at The Ion Age, Brigade Models Release 6mm Mercenaries, Fireforge website back online, BluBot Masking Stencils Kickstarter Stretch Goals Unlocking, Heroic Maps - The Sepulchre of Last Vigil, New 10mm Dark Age Barns from Escenografia Epsilon, and Great Escape Games: fantastic new 4Ground realistic trees.

Here we are again. Half-through with the week. With any luck, you've had some gaming opportunities. Or at the very least, have some coming up. Looks like I've got D&D again this weekend. Should be a good time, though we've got a player moving to Ohio soon. So we're getting in whatever sessions we can before then.

Anyway, as per our custom, we've collected some of the more bite-sized stories we've collected over the past couple days and present them to you now.

In this batch we have: New Cultists and Female SFA Troopers released at, Mage Company Previews Upcoming 12 Realms Kickstarter, Burrovian Casualty Packs for Flintloque Released, End Times Units & The One Page Rules Playroom, Icarus Miniatures Concept Art Preview: Kara Mariasha, Some more Editions of The Fiver from The Meeple Mechanic, Kabuki Models Previews Little Red Riding Hood, Amera Plastic Mouldings New 15mm trenches released, World's End Publishing to Officially Release This Is Not a Test on May 2, RN Estudio releases Kyara miniature, New Satyras The Faun mini from Blacksmith Miniatures, Voodooworx Miniatures Release New Character, April's Free Skirmish Sangin Scenario Now Posted, New Undead Ground Round-Lip Bases from Tabletop-Art, Sally 4th Press Release: 28mm UK style roads, New 6mm SF Desert Buildings from Brigade Models, Fantasy Coins Kickstarter Happening Now, Deep-Cut Studio releases urban ruins themed gaming mats, and Fireforge Games: Euro price list changes.

"The open steppe, a clear day, a swift horse under you and a falcon on your wrist to start up hares."

Fireforge Games has released their new Sergeant at Arms minis over in their webshop.

From the release:

Sergeant at Arms were first raised by Philippe II Augustus of France in 1191, during the Third Crusade, as a bodyguard against the Assasins. There were never many of them and they fought alongside the rest of the army as part of the royal familia. Richard I had 24 with him on the Crusades. They were formed into a 20-strong Corps of Sergeants-at-Arms by King Edward I in 1278, as a mounted close escort. In 1399 King Richard II limited the corps to 30 Sergeants, and King Charles II had 16. During 13th century most European Kings likewise established bodies of sergeant at arms. They carried a mace bearing the royal arms as a symbol of office but their armament included a crossbow as well as a short lance and a shield.

This box enables you to build up to 12 mounted sergeant at arms of the 12th/13th century. Several weapon options like spears, swords, axes, maces and crossbows are included.

Battle Flag gives your caffeine hands a break, coming out with new waterslide transfers for Fireforge Games.

From the announcement:

Here at Battle Flag we are extremely pleased to have been chosen to produce the official waterslide transfer and decal sets for the superb Fireforge Plastics range of 28mm medieval wargame miniatures.

The latest shield designs are for the all new Fireforge Foot Sergeants released this week.

The transfers are available in both an as new and a battle damaged, war weary finish. We have created 24 different designs for the first four waterslide transfer sheets. This ensures that you can place 96 different foot sergeants on the table and not one of their shields is repeated; although you will be able to build up retinues of 4 figures sharing the same heraldic blazon.

With the second phase almost complete the gamer will soon be able to field almost 200 Foot Sergeant models with different shield designs for a truly awesome spectacle.

Battle Flag also produce the official transfer sets for Fireforge Games Teutonic and Templar Knights boxed sets.
