During the Clone Wars, the Army of the Republic was made up of clones (hence the name) led by fearless Jedi. Coming soon for Star Wars: Legion, players will be able to take this army to the field for themselves. In this preview, we get a look at the clone trooper units, the BARC speeder, as well as Obi-Wan who will be leading the charge.

Luke vs. Darth Vader. It's the classic confrontation that surrounds the middle of the Star Wars saga. Arguably the most iconic characters in the series, they already have representations in Star Wars: Legion. But both characters go through many changes during their time in the story, and so Fantasy Flight is bringing out new versions of them that will soon be hitting your tabletops. Let's take a look.

There's a lot of little gizmos, gadgets, tech, toys, weapons, and other gear in the Star Wars universe. From weapons to communicators to scanners to everything in-between. Fantasy Flight is putting out a book full of the stuff for the Star Wars RPG, called Gadgets and Gear, and they want you to get a sneak-preview of what will be lining Wotto's shelves when the book releases.

As the latest expansion for Star Wars: Destiny starts to fill out your decks, Fantasy Flight has announced a new one on the horizon. It's called Covert Missions and it adds game-changing missions to the game. With cards like Construct the Death Star, players can have an alternate way to win the game.

The next wave of X-Wing figures is available from Fantasy Flight. They're still catching up, bringing some older ships to 2nd Edition, such as the Millennium Falcon and TIE Silencer, but there's also new ships such as the Naboo Fighter, the Hyena-Class Bomber, and the Resistance Transport.

It's a Two-Fer Friday in X-Wing announcements from Fantasy Flight. Starting off, they are bringing back the huge ships to the game, offering an upgrade kit for those that already have them, or simply reissuing them for those that don't. Then, for those that have a million ships and want to use them all together at once, they are also adding in Epic Battles, taking the game from a skirmish game to a more mass-army type of game with new formations and larger point values.

Tomorrow, the 4th wave for the X-Wing Miniatures Game 2nd Edition hits shelves. It includes a trio of new ships for the new factions the Separatists, the Old Republic, and the Resistance. But what will these new ships be bringing to the table and why did the designers make them that way? You get answers to that in this Design Diary preview.

Sure, it's summer here in the US, but those south of the equator are right in the middle of winter. They've got their heavy coats on and dealing with the harsh conditions of cold, wind, and snow (or maybe not, but they are for the sake of this intro). In such conditions, I bet they wish they had a nice tauntaun to ride around on. But even if they don't actually exist, your little mans will be able to ride them into battle with the Tauntaun Riders set for Star Wars: Legion. We get a preview of them here. No word yet on how the figures smell.

Continuing their look into the Prequel part of the Star Wars saga, Fantasy Flight has some new previews for Star Wars: Legion. There's a new speeder for the Old Republic (its BARC is worse than its bite... No, I'm not sorry for that) and then you have the Droidekas (or Destroyer Droids, if you're Obi-Wan).

Keep hope alive! Keep hope alive! That's what you can do with the new Spark of Hope set for Star Wars: Destiny. Of course, if you prefer, you can try and squish out that last bit of hope and rule the galaxy with an iron fist. You know, as some are wont to do. Either way, there's plenty of new cards and dice you can use to update your decks now.

For the Rebel Alliance, every fight is a desperate one against the odds. Those that fight often have had many close calls and near-misses in combat before. But that makes them stand out and gives them knowledge that new recruits simply don't have. They are the Rebel Veterans. And soon, you'll be able to bolster your forces in Star Wars: Legion with these knowledgeable troops. Let's take a look at what they're capable of.

Fantasy Flight is another company with a lot going on in terms of releases. They have several new kits for Star Wars: Legion, as well as the new Collapse of the Republic book for the Star Wars RPG. Staying in the RPG lane, but shifting over to the fantasy realm, Legend of the Five Rings has their new Courts of Stone book available, as well as a new downloadable adventure.

Jedi and their Apprentices. They're the fulcrum around which much of the Star Wars saga rotates. The upcoming Spark of Hope set for Star Wars: Destiny brings more of those characters to your decks. So, you can pick up Yoda and add him. Or maybe pick up some Younglings (as opposed to Yuenglings). It's up to you.

While the game may be called Mansions of Madness, those mansions aren't always in New England somewhere. In Path of the Serpent, the new expansion announced by Fantasy Flight, the investigators will be making their way to the Amazonian rainforest, braving biting insects, ancient curses and traps, and huge snakes (as one would expect from the expansion's name). There's new tiles, new investigators, new monsters, and just a lot of new everything for you to check out.

Descent: Journeys in the Dark looks to bring the character building and adventure of an RPG and put it into a board game. Now, if you're like me, you are always looking for that cool, new character to play. Well, Fantasy Flight's helping out with the Lost Legends expansion. There's new standard classes and eight new hybrid classes. What sort of hero/class combinations will you come up with?

Happy Friday Eve! I know I'm ready for the weekend, mostly because I get to play some D&D on Saturday. Need to see if we can go get our Rogue back after they got... somewhat-willfully-kidnapped. It's a long story. But anyway, D&D means possibly some terrain, and we want to make sure everyone's gaming tables look as good as possible.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Adventure Realm RPG Tiles Cave and Caverns Set Up On Kickstarter, Fantasy Flight Releases New Raid Mat For Imperial Assault, New Northland Mat From Deep-Cut Studio, and New Grassland Game Mat From The Wargaming Company.

While taking a transport into a dogfight might seem like taking a conversion van into a NASCAR race, there are definitely upsides to doing so. Namely, all the upgrades and crew you can generally put on them. In this case, we get a look at the Resistance Transport for X-Wing. It's versatile, because if you want to ditch the bottom 3/4 of the ship, you can do so and just fly around in the cockpit.

While the Force-users often take center stage in the Star Wars saga, there are plenty of other notable leaders and troopers that the conflicts revolve around. In this preview of the upcoming Spark of Hope expansion for Star Wars: Destiny, we get a look at some of the cards and dice for a few of the leaders and troopers coming to the game.

Out on the fringes of the galaxy, the Empire's grasp on star systems is much more tenuous. There, smugglers of all form ply their trade, dealing with various criminal organizations while still trying to stay ahead of the few Imperial agents that exist there, as well as a plethora of bounty hunters. How will you make your living? That's what you have to figure out in Star Wars: Outer Rim, the new board game available now from Fantasy Flight.

The world of Rokugan is filled with specialists. Those that have trained hard to hone their bodies into instruments to impose their Clan's will. In this preview of the upcoming Courts of Stone book for the Legend of the Five Rings RPG, we get a look at the Shinobi and see what makes these deadly warriors so dangerous.

I wake up at a ridiculously early hour. I know people who generally go to bed later than I wake up. So, I am often up during the "dead of the night." And yes, even just sitting in my apartment, things can get weird. Though, I've yet to have other-dimensional horrors try and show up. You're not so lucky in Dead of Night, a new expansion coming for Arkham Horror from Fantasy Flight Games.

Res Luk Ra'auf. And so we have Bossk's one line from Star Wars. He was one of the bounty hunters that Vader sent after Han Solo and crew. Soon, you'll be able to unleash him on your own Star Wars: Legion battlefields, as we take a look at the Bossk Operative set coming soon from Fantasy Flight.

Darksaber. If you've read it, you might regret it. If you haven't read it, you might've heard about it. It was one of the least-liked Star Wars EU books that came out years ago. And while the Disney purge of the EU wiped it from existence, elements from it remain, such as the planet Dathomir and the Force Witches that live there. And soon, they'll be making their way to the Star Wars RPG. Have yourselves a look in this peek into Collapse of the Republic.

Yes, yes, yes. I know. "Get it!? Solo mode!?! In a Star Wars game?!?" You're very clever for making the joke. Anyway, for those that find themselves with no other gamers about but they still want to get their Star Wars: Outer Rim fix, there's rules for playing solitaire-style, you versus the game. In this preview, we get a look at how that works.

Each Star Wars: Destiny set covers quite a few different time periods in the overall Star Wars saga. And while the feature image for this Spark of Hope preview might be showing the most recent in the timeline, the cards and dice we have head back to the Prequel era.
